Beautiful homey place. Great service. Perfect food and lots of drink options. A coffee lovers paradise. I had to ettouffee and the avocado toast. Both were phenomenal. Thinking about coming back here tomorrow before I leave town!
Really welcoming and warm and the food is fantastic.I recommend getting banana chocolate chip pancakes as they are the best pancakes I’ve ever had. If I ever get to go to Algiers Point again this is going to be my first stop :)
Absolutely class breakfast spot. We stayed in Algiers to be a little out of the fray, walk some quiet streets and this place perfectly complimented our stay. Music on the weekend, delicious food, top notch coffee. Great service. We ate here 3x over a week and do NOT regret repeat visits. Everything from the hearty breakfasts to the healthier stuff was great. I only wish I had a Tout de Suite a block away from my home in Nashville.
Just an amazing meal! We visited from out of town and came across this gem. I wish I had a second stomach! I had the Poche and it was delicious. My companions each ordered something different and we all raved about the food. The service was also terrific. We can't wait to go back!
Amazing cafe. The food was so good I didn't want to stop for a photo. The best grits I've had in years. Every dish we had was delicious. Set in a quiet family friendly area we felt welcome and appreciated. Great service, too. Have breakfast here, your tummy will thank you.
Enjoyed their sandwich and mocha. Would definitely go back again.
We loved everything and even the live music. 5 out of 5 stars!!!! If you get the chance to stop at this little hidden gem do so!!!
We go here everytime we visit Algiers. A wonderful neighborhood place that never disappoints. I love the farmers breakfast and my friend loves the avocado toast.
Everything on the menu is awesome. Many tourist visit but it's a real treat to we locals who just want a quaint setting in historic Algiers.
This review was long overdue. This was a great find for us. We were in New Orleans for a couple of days. Algiers point is a must see when you are in New Orleans, with its beautiful french style houses and quiet neighborhood. It's just so beautiful by the Mississippi river. And this breakfast cafe is the best there is to get some amazing breakfast. It's a really popular cafe, both with locals and tourists. It was almost occupied when we got there. We had bar stools by the window. They make some fresh beans espresso and other coffees. The fresh smell of coffee filled the cafe. We ordered some coffee, pancakes and the Poche, which was eggs and andouille sausage with sauce on grits and boy it was delicious. The andouille sausage was so good, I still have that taste on my mind. The grits was amazing, too. I had never been a fan of grits but they made me love that grits. The whole combination was so sumptuous. It was great. The pancakes were amazing, too. They were fluffy and tasted amazing. I enjoyed the breakfast so much I left my car keys behind and by the time I remembered my keys were missing, I was on the other side of the river and the place was already closed. Good thing about New Orleans is the public transportation is really good. I had parked my car at the hotel. I went back next morning and the owner had safely kept my keys. It was hot when I got there. She offered me chilled water. She was real nice. This place is a must go when you are in Algiers point. Can't recommend this place enough!!!!
