Cool bistro bar. Friendly staff. Stopped twice during our trip and music was very good both times. We did not have food but what we saw come out of the kitchen looked really good.

Good food, good music and great drinks nothing more to say other than we had a great time in one of the few bars with live music for under 21s would highly recommend the service was also great - the quickest glass of water my daughter has ever ordered

There are a lot of places to choose from in this area, but I'm glad we picked this one. Great food, great drinks, and great staff. Matthew was our server who made dinner and our drinks a blast. Thanks!

The Three Muses is cozy music-oriented cafe on Frenchman St just outside of the French Quarter in New Orleans. We met since friends there for an early dinner and some bluesy singer-songwriter music. We started with a couple of craft beers (both on tap and bottled) and wine from a modest selection that were reasonably priced. We then ordered a few appetizers, including the french fries, Brussels sprouts, and fried shrimp. The only outstanding one of the three was the Brussels sprouts, which were nicely fried and crispy on the outside with a tasty balsamic-based glaze. The fries were, well, fries. Nothing special about them. The shrimp, on the other hand, was simply disappointing. We were served a small cup of tiny, deep fried, greasy, clearly frozen, tasteless shrimp that was frankly embarrassing for a city as richly steeped in food culture as New Orleans and most definitely not worth the $13 we paid for it. That was pretty much the breaking point. We decided that there were better options out there for dinner and left after we had finished the appetizers and the band had stopped for a break. The music, on the other hand was great! Not too loud and a great ambiance for hanging out with friends. It's a shame the food was not any better. Also worth mentioning is that they add a mandatory $3 per person music charge to your bill. Now, I don't have a problem with giving props to the musicians in the form of $$, but I thought it somewhat sneaky to throw that charge in under the radar that way. I would have rather just paid the $3 up front as a cover charge upon entering.

Loveee!!! Amazing atmosphere, awesome conversation with the bartender.. even better food! An absolute must to stop in and listen to some live music

Loved the menu that had some unique and varied offerings We had their mini bao pork buns, fried shrimp, the best fries I've had in a long time, along with good drinks and a great trio playing. Love Frenchmen Street as a kinder/gentler version of the Quarter!

We had a great experience at this place. Drinks are really good, not like other touristy places. The food is also really good. The music is, of course, top of the notch!Staff did their best to accommodate us.Overall this would deserve a 10 stars.I would advise making a reservation.

Very nice, cozy bistro like bar with live music, friendly waiters, located in the Frenchmen st. The menu leans more towards Asian, which surprised me a bit, but it was good. Prices are reasonable. The first band was very slow, not what you would expect from Nola (New Orleans- Luisiana), but the second one was great!

Great music. Great service. And the music is phenomenal. If you’re in New Orleans, this is a “must” stop.
