This restaurant is very cool looking. It has a hip outdoor sitting/drinking/eating area and then inside you’re gonna feel like you’re in A cool restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the drinks are good! Plenty of free parking all around.
Well this is certainly a fun place worth the 40 minute wait. Their margaritas are wonderful and you can drink it on the patio which is beautiful while you wait for your table. Our server was great and the food cones out fast. Their velvet steak tacos are Devine and that corn on the cob is like no other. We will definitely try this place again!!! Fun atmosphere too!!! Plantains and queso dip to die for!
Food wasn't bad but they were extremely busy and our service suffered dearly. Our server was sweet as can be but clearly too busy or inexperienced. She made several mistakes. Got our food and drink order wrong. But her attitude made up for it. It took a long time to correct my spouses food and when he got it...it was cold. Our queso was cold too. I will give this place another try when they are not so busy. Staff was very nice and the scenery was quite charming.
It doesn't look the best but it taste decent but I wish that I had gotten the fajitas because they smelled good.
Beautiful restaurant. The food was good. My only complaint is on the shrimp and grits. I don't know if, because we arrived at 8 I received an eating soup spoon of grits. But, that's what I revieced for $21.00. The waitress correct it and gave me more without question. So, it worked out.
It was a really good dinner! We sat in the bubble tent. It was private and cozy. The food was really good, and plentiful. I'm giving 4 stars cuz they have some room for improvement, but I'm being picky. I would definitely recommend The Velvet Cactus for fun, semi casual, family, and date nights.
Really cool space. They are always making changes to keep up with the times. Great way to stay popular is to always be evolving. Beautiful outdoor space for dining. We attended the dinner in a bubble which was a cool experience and I highly recommend!
First time visit. A friend reserved a bubble and it was certainly different in a good way. It was a fun atmosphere even in 30 degree weather. Food and staff were great. Would definitely do again.
