I visit at least once a month. I have never had a bad meal. The prices are reasonable, portions adequate, and staff is professional.
Went there today for my birthday celebration with friends. Service was HORRIBLE. First off am it was HOT and there were flies in the restaurant. My daughter and I were there about a half hour BEFORE they asked what we wanted to drink but that was AFTER I flagged them down to say we were thirsty. Most of the young ladies in my party made it there before me. They said their entrees took a while to come. I got there at 1:30 and our food didn’t come until 2:45. Some of the ladies in my party canceled their orders. It took so long that I asked them to bring us saucers and a knife so I could cut my Birthday cake. Even my cake started melting and it wasn’t an ice cream cake. They brought my appetizer and entrée at the same time. The soda my daughter ordered was flat so we complained. They brought her a bottled soda, and that was flat too. The food actually was very good but the damage of poor customer service was already done. There was never an apology but they stated they were busy. They weren’t busy at all actually but probably short staffed. The final insult was that they had the nerve to add 20% gratuity with the poor service we received. I won’t be going back there again.
I thought it was pretty good. I was a bit bummed cause it had a limited menu when we went in and we were looking forward to some of the options from the web site. But the Club sandwich was well made and had some tasty bacon on it. Good Fries too. I'd go back if I was in the area for the sandwich. It's a good restaurant though.
I truly love this restaurant. It has been a Gentilly gem for over a decade. I ordered take out. I asked if I could help half fried oyster and half fried shrimp on my salad. I was told they didn’t do that. I said that’s okay and continued to order. When I went to pick up the food they put half fired shrimp and help fried oysters on my order like I asked!!! Lovey staff and fantastic salads and salmon!!!
I've been several times over the last few weeks. Everything I've had was absolutely delicious. Their bread pudding will ruin anyone else's you try after theirs. It's the best!! Go - you won't be disappointed.
The waiter knew the menu very well and he was extremely patient and friendly. My ribs melted in my mouth. I must find a similar recipe to make at home in Texas. Thank you for a great time had by all.
Awesome experience at The Munch Factory!The food was DELICIOUS!; the atmosphere and space was perfect; service was great; staff were friendly; and the owner talked with us and was very personable!
The food here is so good. I love the way they take classic dishes and out their own spin on it.
This place is a bit secluded, down a rather long windy road adjacent to a residential community. The parking lot needs to be expanded a bit. Once inside, it's as if they easily spotted me as a "non-regular" but I rolled with it. They offer in and outside seating, and opted for the latter. Being that I read and heard about the gumbo here, I tried it. (It was lackluster to me). It seemed very dark and slimy, devoid of any okra, the pork sausage flavor was overpowering and as a result only 2 bites were consumed of this gumbo. A special promo entitled VooDoo Burger was suggested, so I tried it. The beef was savory, the bacon was epic, the bread- not to my liking, (perhaps you'll like it). Mixed drink provided was more juice and ice, than anything else.
So I came on 11/24/21 and Errielle took my order barely. When I was next in line and I approached the counter she quickly turned her back on me and started folding some napkins like she was busy. Then finally after 5 minutes she took my order. When it ready it sat on the counter for 10 minutes until orders started stacking up. There was no one in line at the moment and she could of handed me my orders, as soon as someone approached the counter instead of her handing my to go box she stopped to wait for them to make up there mind while me and a few other people stood there. Her behavior was very bad and she should not work at a restaurant that is fast paced especially in an airport where people have places to go and can easily miss a flight. There were a group of people who walked off after acknowledging how slow and poorly her customer service was.
