With The Lighthouse Restaurant right on the property, it’s nice that if you have a bit too much, you just have to walk back home. The restaurant menu is pretty limited. I wish there was breakfast or brunch on Sundays. There are only about 3 things I can eat on the menu. I was recommended the burger by a staff member and was actually impressed with how good it is. I wish there was a desert option with ice cream. There are so many classic Cajun/Creole dishes which cannot be found here. I constantly heard about dishes that were served under the old management which are no longer available. Kelly is the ideal bartender with her easy spirit, a smile on her face and her attention to detail. DeAnna amazed me as a server, never having to write an order down but getting everything right. John from the Kitchen makes the best Spinach and Artichoke Dip I’ve ever had.
Place has horrible service sat at a table for 25 min before waitress even came over to us then she tells us we had to order quick cause they were closing see food place that does not have see food
Sloooow service . Wrong stuff on my burger. I didnt ask for bacon. Food took 45 minutes. 2 orders of crab cakes too. Check way out line. Didnt say sides were xtra other than 1. Brocolli was cold. Surly cashier. Took 20 minutes to get the check. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Parked our camper here for a few nights while visiting New Orleans. The food was great and so was our waitress! We LOVED the fried pickles, chicken quesadillas, and brownies! The restaurant overlooks Lake Pontchartrain which makes for a beautiful view while enjoying your meal. Highly recommend!
I had a wonderful time at Pontchartrain Landing, with my family. Dee our waitress was awesome, providing suggestions of menu items and drinks that were part of Happy Hour.
