I went for a work happy hour and all of the patrons who were Black were treated differently from the white patrons. My company did an open bar with food and they only told the black employees (me and my coworkers) that food was not included yet proceeded to give the white coworkers everything under the sun. This establishment was not welcoming to those with Black skin. If I could give 0/5 I would.If you are one with a darker hue, I recommend you find a different establishment to unwind as you won’t be welcomed here.Edit as I’m not able to reply,I spoke with the host(my direct manager) and he let me know that the tab covered wine, beer and food. The bartender told us that we were not able to put food on the tab which was false. This was not my first happy hour with the company, I’m well aware of the policy. Also the fact you are able to pinpoint who I am let’s me know you’re aware of what went on.

Great neighborhood bar with a huge selection of craft beer, taps and local brews. 30ish age crowd, but comfortable, friendly atmosphere. ?
Waiting to catch a streetcar to go to French Quarter Festival and guess what my husband and I had to pee!! So we saw the Bulldog Bar and ask if we could use the rest rooms with legs crossed.. Well let me tell u that the bartender was awesome and said of course.. Way to go and I am so impressed I could just scream.. Great place cold beer!!Thank u Bulldog Bartender!!!
The best long Island ice tea i have had in a long time. More long Island than tea lol.
Horrible food. The burger meat is like McDonald's. Not even real ground beef. And when we complained they still charged us full price even though we didn't eat the food. Fries were soooo salty and I love salt. Drinks were nothing special. Oh and bug and cockroaches on the bar. For a place that charges 11 for a basic cheeseburger I expect really meat. A waste of $55. Very disappointed. Go to mid city yacht club. Same price for a really good burger and better service.

I visited The Bulldog for the first time in 3 years tonight. I just moved right down the road and thought it would be a nice spot to go to like it was before. However, the bartender was EXTREMELY rude. His attitude was terrible and he kept staring at me and my guy friend sitting at the bar. Upon leaving, he was staring at me and I looked at him and he said “Um, are you ok?” in a way that was very rude. My friend and I will never return again, even if it is the closest spot to go too. Shame on the bartender for ruining my experience. Find somewhere else to go with nicer people that tend to enjoy their jobs.
Awesome place to meet a friend(s) for a drink before going home from work! Efficient staff. Great selection of beers.
