Great View, amazing sunset, nice breeze, solid food. We were fishing off Lakeshore Drive on our visit to NOLA and came across this restaurant at the Marina. The service was very friendly and prompt. Nice live music from the downstairs bar.

Considering that I'm a local, I was impressed with this experience. We had a group of 17 and they don't take reservations for groups over 10 or 12. I called Seth, the manager on duty just to give him a heads up that we were still coming. Seth was a rock star and was as accommodating as he could be for our large group. We started early (5:30pm) with drinks in the upstairs bar area and were eventually seated at two tables near each other. We ordered lots of appetizers and main courses but the standouts for me were the Shrimp and Grits and the Seafood Pasta. Both were excellent! This is also a nice place to catch a sunset and hear some live music.

Waited 2 hours to be seated and honestly didn't think it was worth the wait . The food was okay, they ran out of stuffed flounder so the waitress recommended the Mahi Ahí as a substitute . Wasn't my fav but still ate it especially since my plate was nearly 50$. Had a small seafood gumbo , probably had like 3 tiny pieces of shrimp in it and wasn't fond of the rue. Crab cakes was delicious. The crab drink margarita was good . Overall it was decent. I will have to give them another try when I am back in NOLA and see if my review changes.

As a local, I somehow had managed to never dine here…but very glad I finally have! I brought my foodie grandmother who loves this place, and we were pleased with the overall experience. The food was delicious and plentiful, and my drink (Blue Crab Collins) was perfect for a summer day. We got the bbq shrimp and onion rings as appetizers + the crab cake sandwich and combo seafood platter for entrees. I would recommend any of those options, although the fried seafood wasn’t my favorite of all time. Plenty of tables and a live band downstairs. I will say, it is a little annoying to not be able to make a reservation…you can call ahead to be placed on the wait list but still will have to wait once you’re there. (This was mostly just frustrating to explain to a hangry grandma lol) There is an elevator which is great if you have an elderly person or someone who is mobility-impaired or disabled. It was busy on a Saturday lunch but nothing too much to cause an especially long wait. Our server was a very attentive and patient woman, and she gave great service (I think her name was something like Gloria?) It’s lovely to sit and watch the boats go by! We will definitely go back!

Leaving the Blue Crab with full, happy tummies!! Do yourself a favor & get the gumbo...instead of pairing it with the traditional potato salad, get the brown sugar corn muffins! ??? I've never tasted anything like it! I'll be thinking about these for a while lol. Hubby enjoyed a dz chargrilled oysters while I had the Blue Crab Collins cocktail which was super "refreshing" like a blueberry lemonade! Also had the fried seafood platter that included a soft shell crab (delicious) & onion rings...all of which were great. Service was prompt & friendly. I definitely see a return visit in the near future

I went out to eat with 4 friends.  We got raw oysters and sautéed crab claws for appitizers. That was great.  Our entrees were all horrible.  One friend and I ordered the blue crab pasta.  He got extra shrimp. and both of ours including the shrimp came cold and very bland.  Another ordered the shrimp and grits and got a bunch of shrimp heads and grits that were ice cold in the center.  My other friends ordered the boiled crawfish. and those were okay.  We told the waitress 2 times we wanted to talk to the manager.  The manager came out with a serious attitude saying Whactcha want do about it.  He ripped my 2 friends plates away.  I told him I wanted to take mine home and heat it bc I feel bad wasting food.  Theirs was taken out.  Mine was still full priced.  What a disappointment and waste of money.

Come on blue crab!!!! Got to do better than this!!! For $22.95????? This is robbery. You should be ashamed to let this out of your kitchen!!!!!

OK atmospher and service, but in my opinion the food was only fair and expensive. Good onion rings, Stuffed Flounder only average, crab cake sandwich....too fishy. Plus, parking (even on a weekday evening) was atrocious

Great food. Had raw oysters that were larger and some of the best I’ve had. Got a shrimp, oyster and soft shell crab platter. Crab was very fresh, fairly large, fried perfectly and the best I’ve found. Platter was large and could only eat the crab, couple of oysters and 1-shrimp. Still had a large carry out. Should have stopped at the raw oysters but was happy with the order. Fresh is the quest and they had it.
