The environment was family friendly and relaxed restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive and provided great food recommendations. Great food!
Wish I can give this restaurant 5 stars over and over and over and over! The food is always amazing, the staff are always super attentive, and they were able to accommodate my ask to reserve the back patio for 25 adults for a family reunion. Thanks Backyard! Wonderful neighborhood spot.
Terrific food and even better service. Loved the brisket sandwich and the burger is among the best in New Orleans. Fantastic option for families with kids, too.Kid-friendliness: Great menu options for kids and there is a playground in the back of the restaurant.Parking: Off-street parking available as well as options on nearby side streets.
The place is nice, the atmosphere has that jazz/ blues feel. Staff was very nice.
Our 3 year old had a ball on the playground and made friends with others her age while my wife and I enjoyed the food and beer. We'll definitely be back here.

This place is interesting. The food is pretty mediocre honestly. The sandwiches were very dry. The flavors were good, but the execution is poor. There's a reason they only make sandwiches and don't serve straight up barbeque.The highlight for me is that it's very kid friendly. Good menu items for kids. A playground on the back with outdoor seating. The space is generally spacious.If you're looking better food quality in the same genre, take the extra ten minute drive and go to Blue Oak BBQ. If you're looking for a kid friendly place, come here.The wait staff was pretty good. Prompt and friendly. They were strict on vax cards to sit inside.

Pretty good bbq, nice open space with plenty of seating....the chicken wings are very good.....definitely a great place to watch a sporting event like a Saints game or UFC/ boxing fights
