First time here, the waterice was amazing! I'm from the north so this was something special. I got the pineapple & mango mixed.
They are open monday-saturday 12-6pm. Their grill shuts down at 5pm.
I really like this little spot! I didn't know it was here last month and I'm happy to have been told about it. The water ice is delicious! I've only had one combination that I didn't like and won't order again, but of course that's on me because I chose the flavors. The guy, who must be the owner, has saved me a few dollars and for that I thank him for being so nice to me!I really want to give them 5 stars, but I'm truly not the person who likes to pay for things that should come with the order. If I buy a burger, I don't want to pay extra for it to be dressed. If I pay for nachos, I don't want to pay extra for cheese to go be poured and I also don't want to be charged extra for jalapeños peppers.I love the customer service! The people behind the counter seem to like their jobs and that's a plus! I wish the operating hours weren't so abbreviated, but I also understand lots of businesses are having a hard time getting fully staffed. But they are doing a wonderful job and I see them as a bright spot in Algiers!

Had A Taste For A Funnel Cake , Wasn't The Taste I Was Looking For ! I Think They Use A Pancake Breading Instead Of A Flour Like Batter. Also Got An Oreo Blizz Cookies Tasted Fake (Off Brand)! The Staff Was Nice So Thats Why I Only Give 2 Stars ?
Their prices are reasonable!! The various of foods are from scratch! Their hospitality is Awesome! Best food definitely on General Meyer.
In town the day before a cruise and walked here from our hotel. I got a small peach with ice cream. Loved it! Husband got the next size larger of mango flavor. I liked the peach better than mango. These would be amazing on a hot day. Our day is chilly and windy! Lol. I wrapped my cold cup with napkins to keep from freezing my fingers ? I would come here again and keep trying different flavors.
Grilled chicken breast(no seasonings) per my request, fries and raspberry waterice, anytime I'm in New Orleans, I gotta stop here ... everything is always right !! Special thanks to the owner for helping my husband get my order right...
The fish sandwich is delicious along with the frys not expensive
