The food was truly terrible. Clearly a restaurant trading on the Brennanâs name and catering to tourists without actually caring about the quality of the meal whatsoever.
The restaurant was fantastic food and service with an amazing view of Jackson square.
We loved our visit to Tableau! It was recommended to us by a tour guide, and we enjoyed the entire experience!
The food and wine was great, highly recommend the truffle crab claws for an appetizer. We were seated on the balcony which was really nice atmosphere. The service was a bit slow but the waiter seemed to be the only server for the whole balcony section so I understood it was likely out of his control. The lady at the table next to us had a dog in a backpack that kept barking which was a little annoying since it is a nicer place. Overall a good experience and I would return again if I was in New Orleans.
Redfish almandine was excellent. That opinion is from a native New Orleanian so it is more significant.
The menu was very small and didnât have much of a variety. The entrees didnât look appealing to me or my guest so we ordered appetizers. The appetizers were very small but tasty. One had 4 pieces of shrimp, the other had a small sauce bowl of tiny crab claws. Also, being in the gorgeous Jackson square we wanted to take a picture on the balcony. We had to move a chair out of the picture for less than a minute and the server rudely shoved the chair knocking my friends phone onto the ground and said âdonât block the walkwaysâ. As I said, it was less than a minute so that seemed very harsh. However, the dessert and drinks were delicious.
Creme brulee is LEGIT. The rumors were true — this was the best creme brulee I’ve ever had. The flavor and textures were perfect. Paired with a perfect daiquiri.
The fish was amazing!! One of the best things weâve ever had.
I was in Nola for a wedding weekend. Tableauâs food was average. It is no longer a landmark in Nola. The duck I ordered was poorly executed: raw and the fat was a little gross. I have never eaten a roasted duck with raw skin. Our server was rude and brooming vacuuming at the adjacent table. Super expensive.
We went for brunch and both of our choices (truffle omelette and shrimp roll both topped with lump crab) were superb. The service was amazing as well.
