Sweet Lorraine's food is really special, with or without music. Here I had the really flavorful Shrimp Pasta and Boo had the Salmon which has an interesting Polynesian flair. Every thing there is beyond the expected. This is not nightclub food. Starting to think of Sweet Lorraine's as a Supper Club. They are as serious about what they put on a plate, as they are about who they put on stage.
Sweet Lorraine’s was amazing!! The food was absolutely delicious. The music was excellent. The hospitality was so wonderful too. We had such a lovely time. Thanks for a fantastic night! Chucky D and Friends were so great! Get those shrimp and grits.
Had the pleasure of going there this weekend and had a blast with family. Please order the greens and savory bread pudding ! Sooo good…. Full bar and very nice owners.
An oldie but goodie! You won't be disappointed by the food or entertainment if you visit Sweet Lorraine's. Ample servings, quality customer service and a genuinely great time.
Amazing food/music venue in the Marigney section of New Orleans. Well worth an uber ride from anywhere in the city. Home cooked, elegant food & service, with a dash of love, by the owners. Vegan & gluten free options. Entertainment tonight was top notch jazz masters, Chuckie C and friends, performing at 9 & 11, with a huge helping of humor, storytelling & history. Will remember this night for a very long time. My husband said it all. "I'm in heaven".
I had the regular gumbo and the vegan gumbo and let me tell you they are the two best gumbos I’ve ever had. A win for everyone.Go eat here.
