the food and service are great. But they have the freshest tasting orange juice I have ever had. it tasted like I bit into a orange. I've had fresh squeezed before but nothing like this . Definitely try the breakfast burrito

This was one of the best meals I had in NOLA for our 2022 Besties Trip!!! We are from MD and love our crab. The crab omelette was amazing as was the bananas foster stuffed French toast. The glorious sauce made me want to give the chef a lifetime supply of beads!!!! I have dreams about that French toast!!!
OMMGGGGG, WOWWWWW!!! Our waiter Tom was absolutely AMAZING & the good was SUPERB!!!!! The chef J.J. came out & we had to tell him how exquisite the food tasted! The atmosphere was so relaxed & chilled! We will most definitely be going back again! ♥️
we walked to this place from our hotel... WE had seen the Surrey's cafe on Food Network show when Guy Fieri visited and was waiting to try their home made bagels. really good breakfast, hole in the wall place but a must when in NOLA.
I would tell anyone who goes to NOLA to go here the food was AMAZING crab omelet so yummy, we went back the next day to try more. Mushroom gravy so good banana-peanut butter pancakes very large but daughter ordered it both times.
Plan on arriving early or being patient if you're added to the waiting list as tables can be hard to come by at this tiny locale during peak times. (We waited 30+ minutes on a recent Saturday) The wait, however, was worth it as the variety of dishes were huge, hearty and full of great stuff from eggs to sausages, grits to greens and everything in between. Do make sure you save room for the homemade biscuits though - they're a treat. (Bonus - this location is an easy stroll to the Garden District)
This was the best breakfast in New Orleans. The turkey is smoked in-house and made my scrambled eggs sing. I got Munster and cheddar cheese in my eggs as well. The bananas foster french toast was AMAZING and the fresh squeezed pear, apple and ginger juice was fresh and delicious. This place is a treasure.

This place right here………the banana foster French toast wow! Shrimp & Grits & the Crab meat omelette. Everything was delicious. Definitely coming back.
