They will tow your car in a heartbeat! Even if you get a smoothie, do not so much as pick up anything next door! I live in the neighborhood. This is common. Do NOT park there for ANY reason. They must be getting a kickback or something. They won’t hesitate to tow your vehicle.
I parked at this smoothie king tonight 45 min before close. There was one employee car (watched him walk out), one customer car, and me. I walked next door to pick up a to go order at Angelo Brocatos and within 5 min smoothie king was towing my car. I went in to buy a smoothie as I always planned right after. Purchased my smoothie. Tow guy said “you shoulda came here first.” Don’t come here. They scheme customers and their chocolate slim and trim tasted like old dust.
Towed me after walking next door first for 6 minutes to pick up my to go order. Bought my smoothie and walked out to my car being towed. It was a scam. Driver showed me the stores phone number in his phone and demanded $120 to release my car.
I ordered through Door dash, got me a crazy big smoothie with a ton of stuff in it (trying to make healthier choices) and it is really good. None of the flavors are over powering. I really like how they use this sticker thing to cover the opening and tapes the lid down so you know it wasn't messed with. Above and beyond. Highly recommend.

10/15/2021 Smoothie King is NOLA thing. Smoothie is a refreshing drink in this NOLA hot and humid weather. I came on a Friday and they got this deal $5 for a 32oz ? loving it
I parked in the lot, ordered a smoothie, and was told it would be a long wait so I quickly walked to the bank and back. When I returned, I found that my smoothie was still not ready, as I expected, but that my car had been towed because I'd "left the premises." It took $120 to get my car back, and I still didn't have my smoothie for 10 minutes after I returned. This is a bad business practice and I will never shop here again.
On a hot day this place was bumping but the staff were turning out smoothies crazy fast. Good work crew.
Great service, they were kind and compassionate. I told them I like non of the options available due to the storm. With kindness and professionalism they explain if I did not like the smoothie they would give a refund...thanks for being a part of the reason why I love nola the southern hospitality.
Don't come here. They are in cahoots with a tow truck driver and will threaten to tow your car if you are there too long unless you pay him $120 CASH! He will even be so "kind" as to point you in the direction of an ATM. SCAMMERS at their finest!!
