They lie about the five dollar Fridays they don’t put the signs up they know that most people go to this location or from out of town so they don’t want to take the five dollar purchases on Friday
I’ve visited the royal street location 5 times this week and they have not been open at their posted hours of operation. I’ve had the same person serve me 4 out of 5 times and he’s barely friendly, the young lady who waited on me once was friendlier. It’s frustrating that working people with schedules have to wait around for the convenience of Smoothie King’s employees to open later than what’s posted on line as hours of operation. Get it together Smoothie King or you’ll lose my business too. I can’t wait around and put off my work because of your employees complete lack of responsibility.
Walked up @9:15am this morning, fifteen minutes after opening, according to every online listing I can find, to a locked door. When I knocked to ask, I was greeted by a deep scowl and a non-timid middle finger. I knocked again to point to my wrist as if to ask about timing and got another middle finger, at which point she and the male that was sitting in the corner talking to her disappeared into the back, not to be seen again for ten minutes.To Smoothie King corporate: whoever was on duty this morning at 9:15am at the 114 Royal location should not be serving customers if you value said customers.From reading other reviews, it seems this is not an isolated issue and one that’s been going on quite some time at this location.
Worst smoothie king. Guy was very rude and refused to give his name, the smoothie was horrible taste like they use different ingredients than normal, and when asked if we could make another smoothie he refused because he said he was not going to waste his time. Was told no when we asked for a refund. Very unprofessional, please go to the one on Poydras the staff is very friendly and they always get the order right.
Smoothies are good but be forewarned that notwithstanding their posted operating hours they may not be open. It was frustrating walking around there looking forward to a smoothie only for them to be closed during their posted operating hours. It is hit or miss on whether and when they are open. Returned again. Closed. See picture. A minute or two late isn't the issue, it's this repeatedly happened. If the issue is a staff shortage the official hours need to be adjusted to let people know.
Said they were open had the open sign on, sign on the sidewalk, but the door locked..no one answering the phone.
Not open on sundays but they say there open on Sunday’s blew me ? should update hours
This is the slowest smoothie king I’ve ever been to in my life. Three people in the store and two girls at the register talking while the man making the smoothies takes ten mins to make one smoothie. No efficiency.

The service was excellent the smoothie was on point! The strawberry hulk it always taste great with this guy that fix it he always have like the order i always order!!
