The people here are so sweet. There used to be a lady who worked here who was always on her A1 game. But I just felt so disrespected last time I went. I had 4 drinks in my order. They have tons of blenders, but only used 1blender for my order. So 6 people behind me came and went. I didn't even have a whole person working on my order. He stopped and made someone else's order before getting back to mine. Then he forgot what I ordered. Isn't it printed out on the receipt that they use to prepare the drinks? How do you forget what I asked for? Then he used the wrong formula & tried to convince me I asked for the wrong thing. I had that smoothie a million times before. I checked with a photo on the website. Then I tasted it. It definitely was the wrong formula. But they are sweet folks. But this was so disrespectful to me.
I've visited this Smoothie King (SK) before and they usually do a great job, so this review is only for this particular smoothie. I ordered the Veggie Slim & Trim.Three people came in after me and was served so I had to ask about mine. She said it didn't blend right and they had to remake it. When I did finally get it, it did not have the same taste or color as I've had it when it's made right. This exact scenario happened some time ago at this location when I ordered the same smoothie. Maybe it's not a popular smoothie that is made often, but please be consistent in making it right, with the same taste and color. I could taste something was missing.So far I've only found two SK locations that make this Smoothie perfectly, but they all should be the same. I'd visit again, but may order another blend. The owner is a very nice person, and glad this location is available in the East.
A great experience every time. Love this place! I go there a few times a week.
This is the second Friday in a row I order through the mobile app for curbside pickup and no one comes outside.
I stay in New Orleans East and would love to continue to support this business however the smoothies are watery. Everytime I have gone to try it out I am always disappointed. Today I had the perfect smoothie I just wanted a little more peanut butter in my strawberry super power plus that’s all I requested. The young man did not follow my request. He added more of everything including Ice I said no ice and he ignored me and continued and the smoothie was watery.I feel like the owner has no backbone and just allow her business to just be. I feel bad for this lady because I don’t foresee her having this business long due to the customer service and lack of enthusiasm when it comes to the team she hires.I’m angry because I truly want to support us and not have to drive to Metairie but once again Smoothie King you have disappointed me and the guy she had fix my smoothie doesn’t want to be there. Smh. I’m good I’ll keep driving to Metairie
Really love the location, I'm from Kansas City and was estatic that New Orleans was the home base for this business. I'm a regular customer and found this location close to my gym! Fit&Trim chocolate with almond milk is my go to drink and recommend it if you are trying to lose weight.Amazing company with excellent products! Would love to see CBD options for smoothies in the future.
I ordered from the app at about 3:25pm. I received an order confirmation stating that my order should be ready at 3:37pm. When I went in at about 3:40 one of the employees stated that they were working on my order so I stepped outside as stated on the sign and waited 10 more minutes when I walked in another employee said oh they are working on your order now. At this point, I was agitated it was now 3:53pm. The little girl at the registered got offended because I wanted a refund. I will never order from this smoothie king ever again!
Ordered a yogurt delite smoothie with strawberries it was horrible no taste no nothing
This smoothie king has good services when it comes to the workers working at the cash register and servicing, I love how the male owner is so friendly and greeting. My daughter wanted to work here, the female manager told her she doesn't hire high school students and especially not the ones that are in 11th Grade, but her friend works there and she's younger than her. It's really picks and chooses when it comes to who they want to hire, and some of her friends previously worked there. I thought this would've been a great black owned job for my child, oh well!!!
I waited patiently outside on a cold day for my turn to enter. After placing my order I waited for an extended period of time. The name was entered incorrectly and the wrong name had been called earlier. Smoothies were good. The young man that works the lobby was pleasant but kept the same gloves on as he repeatedly touched the door knobs, tops to people cups and made deliveries to cars. Please have staff to remove gloves and wash/ sanitizer often. Not changing gloves means speading more germs.
