This is a busy local diner, not a fancy restaurant! Being a diner a feel some of the reviews are unfair and this wonderful place should be 5 stars! Service was friendly and attentive , all the dishes are tasty, prices are good, and it’s a fun atmosphere with a great courtyard in the back. Highly recommend!
We really LOVED this place! I had the sweet potato waffle with pecans, my daughter had the pancakes, and my wife had the Greek omelette. This is a quirky place away from the Quarter. Can’t wait to go back for lunch.
So good we went back twice during our stay. Great Bloody Mary's! No one in our group had a bad meal. Waffles, pancakes, eggs...all good. Hash browns were excellent. Bacon cooked exactly how it was ordered (we all like it crispy). French toast was stellar!
Friendliest staff and tasty breakfast in a truly cute diner. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors. Creole slammer was a fun breakfast in honor of crawfish season (very heavy though, be prepared).
This is an excellent little dinner! They have all the breakfast classics like eggs, hash browns & pancakes. But they have some great speciality items as well! I recommend checking out the Cat 5 Burrito! The prices for food and drinks was very fair for the area. We were able to walk right in and get seated on a Tuesday morning. Highly recommend checking them out.
I had the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato) sandwich which was delicious. Hashbrowns were a little too crispy, but still good. Staff is super nice.
Favorite diner in the city. I always get the Contractor's Combo because I'm pretty basic when it gets to my breakfast. But don't let that deter you if you like to spice it up because they have some very unique choices on the menu. Always a great experience and ALWAYS a great beginning to our day.
I had a friendly server who was on the ball. The food is all around comfort food. You will most likely find something you'll like no matter how much of a picky eater. Plan on filling up.
WHERE I GET MY TURKEY BACON & mimosas! vegan / vegetarian safe space! for years i’ve been coming here.i’m not vaccinated, I can dine outdoors now however i could not use bathrooms. there’s been a shortage of staff so lately when i go there’s about a 20-30 minute wait AND there’s been no host so you find yourself wondering if anyone will ever acknowledge you. I love this place because they are one of the few restaurants that actually acknowledge that not everyone eats pork, and i personally appreciate variety. this place is Woman owned. really snazzy. laid back. goood music. you can leave a polaroid on the wall for memories..clean restaurant / restroomspaid on street parking / free residential.handicap accessible!
Pecan o'licious! Nice and fluffy waffle with table syrup. My tastebuds were satisfied. It is the cutiest diner I've ever been to. If you to you can ask to taste a Polaroid to document when you were there.Staff is very friendly.FYI - they take cash and credit now.
