The food and wine were exceptional. However, our server was not very attentive even though there were only two other tables occupied. Would I go back? Yes!
I have no idea why this place isn't crowded constantly. Their food is amazing, the wine selection is fantastically diverse, and the setting is adorable. Factor in that you are getting an entree for the price of a small plate at most other restaurants and it is silly to think about going anywhere else. File this under "neighborhood gem."
Silk Road has a solid Restaurant Week menu. We tried the samosas for apps, curry chicken for main, and gulab jamun for dessert. The Red Curry Chicken was my favorite part of the meal - it was amazing. There was a pretty good beer selection, with more options in cans than on draft. But let me tell ya - the restroom was SO CLEAN. I was very impressed by that.

Staff is good. The smoked burger and salmon was good so we returned to try the other food on the menu and that food was mediocre. Beef short ribs are not ribs, they are more like beef stew cubes with little flavor. The gumbo is ok along the duck. Nothing was great, just your average and I do mean average food. Not worth the price.
Noisy, loud music where we couldn't even hear the waitress to place our order. Food took forever to come out, some dishes cold. We ordered the roasted vegetables as a side dish and were given sliced potatoes!! Potatoes are not a vegetable and for $6 for the dish it was a total rip off. Never coming back to this place again. We couldn't wait to pay our bill and head out.
Had tried this restaurant before, thought it had a cool vibe. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great this time. Our food took an extremely long time to come and most of the group did not like the food. Wonder if they have staffing issues that was a problem? The management seemed to realize service was off, they comped one of the cocktails. So, disappointed with our experience, but I hope they recover soon
Grace was awesome and gave us great tips on food choices and places to enjoy in the city.
Go on Fridays wonderful two piece band the Secret Bandwagon. We were seated next to them but still not overpoweringly loud. Food was good and good value , service was a little shaky but friendly and kind. Absolutely would, return
