This is a dive. That's what it is. It's a really good dive. If you like that kind of thing, you'll like Saturn bar. If you don't, please don't go there. Beer and shot specials, peeling paint, it has it all. Don't expect elegance, don't expect finess. Beer=cold. Done.
Been going since O' Neill was behind the barClassic dive now fixed/ cleaned up a bit but the character remains ..interesting music from time to time

We were drawn in by the piano music and stayed for the atmosphere. A funky and eclectic place for sure.

This is one of the last places with a real all the time drink special(shot n beer for $6). The new owners kept the neon dive vibe but actually cleaned the place, fixed the bathroom, and keep adding cool art pieces.
After my hometown bar got destroyed by ida we don't get out much anymore, But coming here to see some of my favorite bands that used to play at the intracoastal club I really just felt at home. The vibe is just so chill and artsy, and I felt very welcome there. The door guy was cool as hell and the bartenders were tentative and not unfriendly. Drinks were reasonably priced and they had some good pop-up food outside too! ? 100% will return and is now one of my fav little dives in nola.
