Truly in the top 3 food experiences of my lifetime. My girlfriend and I came here while on vacation, and we're honored to also meet the Chef. Thank you Diki for taking the time to share your passion and unique restaurant with us we were already beyond impressed, but meeting you made it a more lasting memory. I hope the best for your family and continued success in NOLA.To anyone reading this if you want to try a classy, fun, unique take on food and cultures do not hold back when you come here. Order from the unique cocktails and food items. We also tried the oysters, lamb, and desert.I won't try to convey or explain this experience as it will not meet the level it deserves. Just take the chance and enjoy.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Indian southern restaurant. The appetizer, cauliflower fritters were delicious. My main dish the baigan bharta was DELICIOUS! I ordered it spicy, I was not disappointed. I will be coming back to the spot.

Simply fantastic! Reminds me of Rasika in Washington D.C. I would argue these two innovative Indian restaurants are on a level of no other such restaurant in the U.S. The gumbo here is out of this world, and every other meal we had including the dessert was incredible. Had high expectations coming in and left with them fulfilled (I was blown away). Not cheap, but 100% worth it. It is rare to come across such GOOD Indian cuisine in the U.S. Now we can all find it in New Orleans!

We enjoyed a incredible dinner last night at Saffron. The service was phenomenal with great thanks and appreciation to Laurence (Lou) and Rachel. We ordered the cauliflower fritters, spring salad, oyster roast, lamb, scallops, grilled shrimp and beef tenderloin kabobs. All were awesome.

Had a birthday celebration here at one of New Orleans best restaurants, in my opinion. One feels welcome from the moment you make reservations (recommended) until you gather your things and sadly depart. The atmosphere, mood and general vibe of the establishment is pleasant and most satisfying. The staff are extremely accommodating to their patrons needs without being intrusive. The fare, well again in my opinion, is the finest in the land. Each offering transforms you to the exotic homeland where you can almost smell the jasmine. You will not regret visiting Saffron NOLA, believe me you would regret not experiencing such a delightful event.

This. meal. was. PERFECT.My friends and I came here interested in the fusion and the family history, and left as devotees.Every step of the meal was amazing. From the green salad with a spiced watermelon, to the cocktails, and absolutely inclusive of the lamb chops… it was our best meal this trip, and a reason to visit New Orleans itself.

Nice upscale Indian food. Enjoyed everything but our favorite was by far the butternut squash—it was so flavorful and the sauces paired with it were amazing!

This restaurant is a fusion of cajun and Indian food and it is PERFECT ? So very unique. Their cocktails are amazing as well. I loved the atmosphere, especially the low lighting. There's an open window that allows you to watch the cooks in action. Super friendly and professional Staff.. Great experience!

Omg the food is so good! I always complain that Indian restaurants don’t push their limits and then I came to Saffron Nola.Really enjoyed everything we ordered. The plating, the flavours everything was so good. The service was great too. The ambiance was very lively. I wish they expand to other cities too.

Great dining experience! Fusion of Indian with traditional and local cuisine is exemplary! In addition the cocktails are amazing, the scents and flavors took me back to my childhood but with a whole new twist!
