I looked all over for some authentic New Orleans pralines and I found them here! On a good note, they were delicious! The New Orleans Candy Company brand is very tasty! On a bad note, I had the worst experience with the 2 workers there. I came in clearly confused between the different flavors and brands, and at no time did anyone offer assistance. No one ever greeted me, no one ever spoke to me, no one even looked in my direction. They looked at me to acknowledge that I walked in the store, but they never spoke a word to me. I'm thinking this has to be the worst welcome I have ever had. If I didn't have a flight in 3 hours, I would have looked for a different Store to purchase my pralines. I don't know if it was because I was black, I don't know if it's because they don't acknowledge customers, but I literally felt so forgotten and disrespected. I even brought it to their attention. I told them, "you know you guys didn't even speak to me when I walked in. I'm not used to people being unfriendly in New Orleans", and they responded, "we usually talk to everyone, people say we're overfriendly" and I said "well not today". They never even apologized! If I had a choice, I would not come back to this store the 2 people working there were completely unprofessional and not welcoming in the slightest bit. The cashier's name was Rachel and I didn't catch the older man's name that was working with her that day on the 23rd of January. You will not receive the New Orleans hospitality in Royal Praline Company 2.
The shop has variety in products. After searching I find the Cafe du Monde at a very good price there. The staff were very helpfull . Brittanie attended us very well! We were allowed to enter with our Service dog and were very friendly.
Good place for fudge candy and pralines. Must stop in if you have a sweet tooth.
Amazing selection of fine treats. Clean store well organized and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Very young
I took my dad into the store to buy souvenirs, because it was his first time in New Orleans the guy in the store was extremely rude to him!
Good little spot for some pralines. The guy at the counter was good to talk to. Go to place.
My sister and I were in town on a recent road trip looking for pralines for our mom. This was the best place we found. There were so many choices that we had a hard time making up our mind. Tons of different types of pecan pralines and other candies. They also have other Souvenir type items. Big thing for us is that they ship! So, we bought even more as we didn’t have to take them home on an airplane.
Used cash to pay for my item and Marsha acted like I had leprocy. Very rude and unprofessional, don't waste your money in this place.
Praline all over. Great customer service. The owner is very talkative and attentive. Delicious pralines. Great souvenir.
