Better place to buy souvenirs in NOLA
We tried several pralines. Nanny's was the best, followed by Sally's. Third place was Royal pralines (too few nuts), and we didn't care as much for la Belle creole pralines.
This shop was one of the better ones we went in while exploring these New Orleans streets. It was cute, organized, staff was nice, but I wasn't in awe by the selection of items inside. If you're wondering what praline is like, to me, it has the texture of very dry fudge.
Bought 2 pralines. Price was $6.01. Paid cash. The clerk (Bob), gave me a hard time because I did not have exact change.I was not the merchant. I was the customer.Told him to keep the .99, and it was good. Bob still continued to mouth off.Do not waste your time or money here. Poor service, bad attitude.

The lady at the counter was a perfect example of the friendliness and helpfulness we encountered all over New Orleans. When I was concerned about buying a Christmas ornament to bring home, she double wrapped it to ensure it would make it home. It did! What a wonderful place to browse and shop.
