We had the most amazing meal at Rizutto’s. Carlos, our server, was fantastic but the meal was stellar. We had the stuffed mushrooms and the ravioli as appetizers - I’ve had those before and knew they were winners. For my entree I decided to get one of the specials ( pan seared drum topped with a lemon/cherry tomato sauce and 3 jumbo shrimps on top of the sauce served with mascarpone risotto). Oh. My. Goodness!!!! was one the most delicious dishes I’ve ever had. It was perfection - the risotto was creamy and well cooked and the drum super soft and moist, deliciously bathed with the sauce on top. Every bite was a feast to my tastebuds. Thank you Chef Cory - everything was delicious but my special was off the charts!!!! Can’t wait to go back!

Great dining experience at Rizzutos! Food was tasty above all and the service was excellent.

As a manager at Commander’s I have high expectations. This place was Longhorn steakhouse type of bad. The place was absolutely FILTHY. No soap or paper towels in the restroom. Our silverware was gross. My wife’s chair had blood stains on the cushion. The tablecloth had stains. The wine glasses on the table had lipstick and water spots. How this place passed a health inspection is beyond me. I will certainly be calling them Monday.

This was a very nice establishment. Curtains on the walls, Very sophisticated. Single use restrooms. Limited menu. Food was delicious. Staff was very courteous. They also catered to the children in our party. Reservations only.Dine in: Yes

We sat outside on the patio on Saturday at 6pm. They were not busy at that time. Easily got a Reservation. Unfortunately our waitress was not attentive at all. Maybe she was also serving tables inside? There was 2 other waiter and waitress serving other tables outside that seemed to do just fine. It literally took from 6pm to 7:26 pm to receive our entrees? Now she did apologize for the slow wait but youbwould have thought I would have been able to have more than 1 cocktail in-between that time frame. Just poor service. Then the food my wife ordered was rosemary chicken. Burnt and very salty and didn't even plate the side of potatoes that was supposed to come with it. My daughter's filet was ordered with salt only no other seasoning. Just plain. Well how did it come plated full of oregano on top. Could you imagine if we would have said anything how long it would have taken to get the order right. Lol. My Veal Picata was good very tender but hard to enjoy when everyone else had issues with their food. We are frequent visitors to this restaurant and it has become very disappointing to have dinner there. I can say the drink were good so the bartender obviously cares about doing a good job. The bread pudding is the only reason we would even consider going back for. Even though the experience and the food was a disaster when the $220 bill came I left a $50 tip for the waitress. Maybe next time their are issues inside she won't abandon her table and still do a excellent job. You should have better service at a nice restaurant like Rizzutos.

I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our lunch. I should have taken pictures. From Eggplant Valentino and the Beet Salad and Brussel Sprouts to the Crab Cake. All very ridiculously delicious. Us 3 college girlfriends met there and couldn't have been happier! The atmosphere was fine dining and the staff was perfectly on point!! And the prices were definitely within reason. We're going back.

Four of us went for happy hour. Each of us had two cocktails/wines each, plus multiple appetizers. Very enjoyable. Sat outside, the weather was very good. Our waiter was very attentive, and he was constantly checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. After we finished, we all said we would return

Amazing food! The meatball appetizer was great. It came with a delicious ricotta cheese. Chicken Parm portion was huge and awesome. I love the sauce. It's a classic Italian sauce with a little kick to it. Dessert was the best bread pudding I've ever had. No question. The restaurant itself is very classy but not pretentious. Very warm and comfortable place to eat. Staff was great also. Our waiter Cameron was a big help with the menu.As an Italian ex NYer it is not always easy to find Italian in NOLA the way I like it, but Rizzuto's is a great classic Italian restaurant.

Let me say this flat out, the prices are too high for average food. You are really just paying for a "fine dining experience", the quality of food doesn't match the price. Recently however the food as been especially bad. The dining spaces are too crowded, so I had opted to order to go instead. Got the oysters, crab cake and seafood manicotti. These three items used to be top tier, especially the crab cake about a year ago. I don't know if it's a new chef or what but when I got home the only thing that was edible was the seafood manicotti. The oysters looked terrible and tasted terrible. They were mushy and looked like it was 90 percent breadcrumbs. The crab cake was way too lemony and honestly looked like an entirely different crab cake than the one I've been ordering for the past year. I paid around 70 dollars for the three things and I only ate the seafood manicotti, the other two genuinely went into the trash. To summarize, the restaurant used to be ALRIGHT but in recent months has just gone down hill. What used to be a mediocre fine dining experience is now just a bad experience.

Traditional Italian restaurant in a home like setting in Lakeview formally was Tony Angelo's which was pretty popular in this new incarnation seems to be even more popular. Went on a weekend night and it was very quiet and tightly packed, with nobody wearing masks and checking vaccine cards. It was good but very expensive
