Food was terrible the prime rib omelet was so salty and dry (really dry), the fruit bowl looked like it had been sitting out for a couple days. The eggs benedict was ok but the tomatoes had 1 piece and it was dried up and the size of a dime. The manager did comp. the meal which was nice but we will never go back there to eat. Dennis
Bread was not good, just a sub bun. French onion soup had a piece of plastic in it but they did comp it so thank you. Chicken was dry. Salad was just lettuce and dressing and did not live up to the actual description (missing items). Crab pops were amazing and the prime rib was delicious. Had to call another waiter k we for water several times as ours arepa served us. Need to improve service.
We were seated right away and Jyllian, our server was most attentive. The prime rib and ribeye steaks were served at the desired temperatures. Caesar salads were fresh and the French onion soup was delicious. The Rib Room is our steakhouse of choice when in New Orleans. Itâs consistent, affordable and a relaxing atmosphere for fine dining.
Menu posted on Open Table is not current. Actual menu is limited and they are out of some items. The food was good and the waiter did a good job. Unfortunately, the restaurant is experiencing some issues with mice.
Always a favorite
We had the best meal ever tonight at the Rib Room. The French Onion soup was the best I’ve ever had. The rib eye was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious and so flavorful, seriously one of the best steaks I’ve ever had with a delicious butter sauce for dipping. The Rib Room salad was absolutely delicious also. Jillian and Frank were awesome servers and Chef Mike was amazing. We will be back on our next trip to New Orleans!
