What a place. 120% recommend checking it out. If you are into jazz and got a few dollars to spare, definitely get the seats.Oh did you see the no AC thing that’s in this place description? Take that seriously. I think I lost a few pounds just through sweating. It’s 10x worse than you think in the hotter months (I visited in June). But the music made it worth it.
Do. Not. Miss.If you're visiting New Orleans and enjoy music AT ALL, do yourself a favor and buy a ticket to a Preservation Hall show. I recommend the seated tickets, as the show is 45 minutes long. The A/C is a little light and it can get warm inside, so dress accordingly.

Fantastic!!! My husband and I have little exposure to jazz but we love great music. An amazing experience was had! We were treated to something extra special but I have a feeling that it is always extra special here. It was like being in the living room of a fantastic top-notch jazz band with all your relatives. Amazing. The band was so dynamic. Loved it. The music was so neat. Paying. for a seat (benches) was a must for us! The benches were study and fairly comfortable.
The show is a bit short, the room a little bit too small, but the show is great.When you love jazz music, this show is truly a must-go-'n-see. Really nice!
This was a fabulous experience that I highly recommend. I don’t think there’s a bad spot in the house, but I would recommend paying the extra to sit up front. It was so intimate and amazing.
Wow. This whole experience blew my mind.I didn't know what to expect, but knew I had to see a proper jazz band at least once during our stay. The show is short, the room is small. Masks required. The weather was cool, the music was HOT. What a show. My love of New Orleans jazz is cemented. I need to come back without the kids so I can just listen to music all day and night. ?
This was one of the coolest experiences I've had in New Orleans. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band holds a special place in my heart. It's a band my Grandpa and I had always shared. They put on such an immersive and incredible show. I wish we could have seen them together.If you're considering a show - don't hesitate!

I love this place! I come here every time I visit New Orleans. The concerts are short, less than an hour, but they are perfect for the small space.
