This was a first time experience for my family ordering food in the company's flagship city. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The staff exhibited southern hospitality. The location was very busy but the line moved right along.
i go to this specific Popeyes about once a year. each time i go i have a bad experience. each time i go i tell myself to never go back and yet i continue to give them another chance. and i continue to be disappointed. Yesterday I went into the lobby and there was only one person in line. Good- but it still took 9 minutes to place my order.it took another 19 minutes to get my order even though i told them i would take whatever they had, spicy or mild , it didn't matter. when i finally got my order and started to leave they called me back saying they gave me 10 pieces instead of eight. they checked my receipt and took back two pieces of chicken. when i got home i realized that they shorted me four biscuits and a large order of cajun rice. charged me for it though. you'd think they would have noticed since they were so worried about checking my order to make sure i didn't get two extra pieces. After spending a half hour waiting for my order (fast food?!) I did not bother to go back and correct their mistake. But this time i'm really not going back. no more chances.
Always delicious but a bit too greasy. Sometimes they get the order incorrectly. Popeyes is the best fried chicken in the city and love their expanding clever menu! ?
I suggest going inside if you want to order from the Popeyes. In the past we always mobile ordered for drive thru and it did take a very long time but when we order for pick-up inside they bagged our food when we said we are picking up a mobile order. We were in and out within 5 minutes. The fish sandwich was delicious as always? so sad that it will go away soon
Line was long as in the evening so I decided to get inside. Line was short but had lots back orders. I saw them dump fresh chicken but she chose to give me the old dried out pieces. I also asked for 2 thighs and a leg but they decided to give me 2 legs and 1 thigh. Check your bags!
I received the wrong order that seemed to be missing portions. The red beans smelled spoiled and the wait was long. Considering all of the bad comments; it doesn’t appear that management or the franchise cares about customer service.
The line was down the street. We placed our order while still waiting in the line in the street when we arrived to the window 40 minutes later and PAID they were trying to give us a completely DIFFERENT order because they had run out of spicy thighs and breast. However, from the car I could see fresh chicken being pulled from the grease. If I could give a -40 I would have.
3825 Gen Degaulle location was the worst it has ever been, the chicken sandwich was disgusting and old and chicken was stringy, our whole entire family meal made us all sick!!! This use to be my favorite location but the lady manager must not be there anymore. I could see people on cell phones in the back and just not carrying about food quality.
Had been ill. Didn't want heavy fast food but needed something quick. Ordered just red beans. The line was long as usual but it took 11 minutes from when the manager took my order at my car when through the pickup window. Too much rice but the beans were piping hot and fresh. I don't eat Popeyes but the beans are always a treat!
The lines are usually long. But, it moves pretty quickly. It is worth the wait because the food served her is always hot, fresh, and delicious. You can tell the staff here work very hard!
