Pontilly Coffee is the best coffee place in New Orleans hands down! They are also cheaper than most coffee shops! Their coffee is smooth and not acidic. Their pastries and bread pudding tastes as if they were made by angels because they are so heavenly! Like eating their pastries and bread pudding is like an out of body experience. The turnovers are light and fluffy as one would expect in a great pastry. Their hand pies are filled to the max with delicious filling and are covered in a delightful glaze. The white chocolate espresso bread pudding is my personal favorite. I’m a southern girl, so I can love and appreciate some great bread pudding, but the added twist of white chocolate is excellent and espresso is not very noticeable for those who might not be into coffee. It’s nice and moist and delightfully sweet. They have a loyalty program which is nice because they are building a lot of loyal customers with the locals and seminary students across the street. It has a great and warm atmosphere! As soon as you walk through the door, the staff greets you. They play great Christian music that creates a positive and uplifting at atmosphere. Their dining area is decorated with fun and very NOLA-like art! They have a jar on the counter for prayer requests for customers to put in. They also have a nice shaded patio for when the weather is nice for customers to enjoy the fresh air and over look NOBTS’s campus across the street. If you are visiting or looking for a nice spot to hang out in NOLA, I highly recommend Pontilly Coffee. It’s a must in my opinion! Don’t miss out on it!

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Been 3x, everything we've tried has been good. Prices are reasonable, my only wish is that the coffee would be hotter. Each time I wanted to pop it into a microwave.

First off, excellent customer service! Great muffins and good coffee. All proceeds go to a great cause. Away from the tourist areas but worth the trip.
After visiting Pontilly coffee while on a service trip to New Orleans, I went 2x a day for the remainder of my trip. Not only is the coffee delicious, but their Nolaches and pastries are divine. The service is beyond friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Highly recommend!
