The absinthe experience was great! Good recommendations from staff. True water drip process. ... First timer with this spirit. More of a sipper... Staff was nice, but no pirate people today. Lots of seating outside in a quiet alley.Lots of night tours come through here, so it may get a little busier then

What a fun place to stop when you visit Pirate's Alley. Small, quant, open air type of bar. Drinks are quick and satisfying, bartenders are friendly and helpful with local suggestions for tourist. If you're up for the main attraction order off the absinthe menu. We did the Jade 1901 and came back a second night and tried the Absente. Both trips well worth it.

Pirate’s Alley Cafe & Olde Absinthe House is one our favorites as a last stop for the night. Love the location of this place, a little corner cafe in a dark alley. It’s perfect for a late night drink, with a few outdoor tables to rest your self after an evening of walking the Quarter. The absinthe is great and the staff is always friendly. And you never know who you’ll see. Ozzy (impersonator) stopped by our table for a few photos last time we were here.

This is a great absinthe bar. They offer a wide selection of highly-rated absinthes, served the proper way. On my next trip to NOLA I will make a bee line to Pirates Alley Cafe.

This is a must stop every time we are in Nola. Great service, great drinks.

great experience, although children with their drunken tourists parents should be monitored

It was awesome place to chill and drink. Met a really cool couple and learned a lot about the area. Definitely coming back here soon.

I recommend 2 drinks. Pirates punch if you’re feeling something fruity. The absinthe is pretty amazing and they let you watch while they make it!!

Friendly bartenders. Nice out door seating. Reasonably priced drinks. I like to come here when ever I'm in town. Nice place to chill with the adult family.

Cool spot we stopped in on a small local tour. Watching the ritual of creating the absinthe was really unique, though the drink definitely wasn't for me! Very nice folks, interesting location and definitely a place to stop and try.
