Fantastic ice cream with fresh ingredients. The mint tasted like fresh mint. Espresso Brownie and Cookies and Cream were also amazing. Has a great mouth feel - stretchy like booza (middle eastern ) ice cream which is difficult to find. A must try !!!!!

The fresh waffle cone smell drew me in even though I can’t eat them. Gluten is a no go for me, but most of the original flavors are gluten free. One, the peanut butter mud pie was vegan, but not gf. The lemon ricotta honey tasted heavenly, but I went for the ginger beer and hot springs sorbet and my tongue is still tingling. The ginger beer was authentic, with a nice little bite and the hot springs is raspberry, hibiscus, and jalapeño. Nice combo.

I’m a Midwest boy who has enjoyed much of the freshest ice cream that dairy farms have to offer. But these all pale in comparison to the delicious, delectable, rich, creamy ice creams that Kelsey whips up at Parish. When guests come into town and ask what sites they need to see, I tell them to skip Bourbon street, forget the WWII museum, kiss Frenchman farewell, and go directly to Parish. I’m especially fond of the espresso brownie and their summer seasonal blackberry cheesecake flavors.

I LOVE this place! I’ve stopped in for ice cream a few times (my favorite is the cardamom). The place is not far from where I live, and I found out today (called ahead) that they would allow me to bring my dogs in! Oh boy - that means we might be going even more frequently now that I know we can stop in our our daily walks! The nice person behind the counter even offered my pups a treat!!!!!

The waffle cones were homemade and tasty. We liked our ice cream. 4 stars because we felt the number of flavors was too slim, and the man serving was not super friendly (not unkind or anything, just unenthused). The ice cream seemed to be small batch homemade, which could explain only having 10-12 flavors. Some of the flavors were “off the beaten path” a bit for us, so maybe that’s why it seemed like too few options. The store was very clean and prices were very fair.

I got two different flavors in one scoop. It was really good. I had the peppermint bark and cookies & cream flavor. It was very soft and the flavor was divine. There were so many flavors and I wish I could try them all. The employee was very friendly and patient as I thought about what I should order. The vibes are very chill. The area was very clean. I can't wait to come again.

Their Espresso Brownie ice cream is really good, just very rich in flavor so I’d pair it with a plain flavor next time to offset. Also I really like the decor here (pretty gold accents). Come check it out!

Parish Parlor is the finest ice cream I have ever tasted, no question. The amount of detail and thought that clearly goes toward making each of the varieties amazes me every time I come here. Everything is made in shop and everything is delicious with incredible fresh flavors. I especially enjoy their pecan pie ice cream but they do the basics so well- vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, that I’d recommend not skipping over them. If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out!!!

Best ice cream ever!

I discovered this gem of an ice cream parlor several months ago and can’t stay away. The best ice cream in the city, hands-down. Try the espresso brownie or peppermint bark and tell me I’m wrong. No need to venture up Prytania any more!!!
