Loved this restaurant! Food was excellent and a nice break from fried seafood and oysters found everywhere in the French Quarter. Service was also very timely.
This was one of the highlights of our trip. Across the street from our hotel and just an amazing find for someone who wants a nice calm atmosphere with very welcoming staff. Manager sat down with us and talked about the city and gave recommendations. We were just stopping in for a drink and some appetizers and the cheese board was perfect! Amazing selections served with fresh fruit and crackers. Overall, exactly what we were hoping for.
Wonderful spot in the French quarter that does NOT take reservations! They have small plates and awesome wines and the best quart yard as a sanctuary for a quiet place for a meal. The wine selection is very diverse and it's a quaint atmosphere that has a locals only vibe. The mushrooms with shrimp is probably the best appetizer I've had in years! It's with the jaunt to visit and relax. The bourbon pecan pie is a must, but only if the do not have their bread pudding! This place was a recommendation by a local bartender from the Hermes. So good we went back and thanked him for the tip.
My wife and I stumbled onto this bistro while walking around the French quarter. The service was great and they made great recommendations of entrees and wines to pair with them. They even let us taste the wines they were recommending. Their beer selection was great, as well. I would definitely visit again the next time we visit the area.
Intimate bar/dining experience,My wife and I preferred to return here instead of trying other restaurants because their lamb loin chops are to die for. Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff make it a point to insure your dining pleasure. Bartender is a friendly genious. An excellent player piano helps provide the ideal ambiance. The chef is a wizard witgenius. We shall return again!
Food and drink outstanding. Great location, ambience and service, can't fault it. As is is along a side street it was quieter than all of the places on Bourbon Street, and cheaper.
By far the best meal we had in New Orleans! Everything was amazing- food, drinks, service and atmosphere. Anyone going to New Orleans should stop here- sit in the courtyard if it's available.
The best fish, deserts, coffee, and service we ever had and the owner and bar tender Michael was soooo nice, kind and fun and shared amazing info about everything. We will go again for sure and highly recommend it - thank you
Adorable place. Been here 3 times over the last 10 years and always want to come back. My husband and I enjoy that there are smaller and larger plates which worked out perfect this time as I wasn't especially hungry. My husband found the gulf fish over rice and vegetables amazing. I I enjoyed the crawfish over caprese salad which was a smaller plate. My only complaint on this dish is that better tomatoes are certainly available and for a dish like this they are needed. Their bread is wonderful. The key lime pie was one of the best I've ever had. Our waitress Patty was so nice and helpful. Will be back during our next trip for sure.
This place is amazing! We had dinner here last night and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the duck, pasta and baked brie with garlic cream sauce. They seemed to be short staffed but all their employees were still very friendly, gave great service and the food came out fast. We were so impressed with the level of service. It's right across the street from The Bourbon New Orleans. I highly recommend this place!
