Took a distillery tour here and loved it. It was very informative. The tour lady (forgot her name) was very nice and friendly. She was knowledgeable about her stuff. We got to try three different shots. Also got a bottle of the vodka and it was great. Definitely good quality. Bartender guy was also nice and friendly ?
I tried a cocktail called The Mailman which was pretty good. It was kind of an old fashioned with a bit of extra bittersweet. The spirit selection was fairly broad, and the bartender was very good for conversation. I’d definitely stop back when I’m in the area to try some of their other items.
Swung by with some friends for tasting and learned some cool things about the distilling process. Good outdoor space in front and back as well as a pretty nice bar inside. Hard not to leave without grabbing a bottle for yourself.
This is an incredible hidden gym in the city. I can’t believe more people are not talking about this place. We went on a whim after having had lunch and some drinks down the street at Port Orleans. It looks pretty unassuming from the street, but inside you’ll find a nice little bar room. After chatting with the bartenders and trying a few of their drinks they invited us to check out the back patio space, which is unbelievable! We ended up buying a cigar there and smoking a cigar while enjoying some house cognac on the patio. This is probably one of the coolest patios in the area. The bartenders were so friendly and knowledgeable and made great ambassadors for the NOLA brand. The Trinity vodka was unbelievable. I literally ordered a shot and just sipped it.
Maggie gave us an amazing tour and the Moonshine and Spiced Rum were AMAZING! The Lavender Lady drink was also refreshing and delicious. It was our first "event" on our visit to New Orleans and it did not disappoint!
1933 was a good spot to go to for me and my people we got the distillery tour and was able to try 3 spirits also... great environment great people I got a slushier frozen drink called the hurricane it was ? sweet and at the same time spiked ... I appreciate the atmosphere and the workers there we smiling and constantly answering any questions we had ... I recommend trying the hurricane frozen drink and taking the tour ?
Amazing tour! Our tour guide was very informative. The mixed rinks were delicious. The bar has a speakeasy vibe going. I highly recommend visiting if you have time.
Can't stress enough how good this is. I bought a few bottles and was very surprised at the price. The vodka could definitely sell for $100 a bottle. I drink a lot of high priced bottles and this is the smoothest I've ever had.
Amazing back patio. Staff let us play our own music and make it a really cool experience. Do a tasting and try everything.
The bourbon and infused vodkas were very nice. Outdoor seating was great on a nice day.
