Excellent food. The portions were smaller than people are probably used to, but it was more than enough to make you full! Nirvana Indian Cuisine is an awesome place to eat for dine in or take out. I highly recommend it. A+
Great chefs have the ability to take the simplest of the ingredients and create something magical; and this is exactly what I felt with every food bite here. Amazing authentic Indian food with great service and friendly staff. I had onion pakodas, lamb biryani and mango kulfi.
Amazing food and very authentic taste. I loved the lamb biryani particularly the most. I met Bosco who was extremely hospitable and made my experience even better!
Food is decent. Be quick to have the paneer shashlik, paneer gets hard. And don’t ask for spicing up the biryani, the spice didn’t blend in.Be early to get there, the closing time is a bit early than what’s shown. And also to not get bothered when having food at closing hours.
What I loved about this restaurant was how very friendly the staff were. The waiter, cook, bar tender, and host were all absolutely professional and kind. The atmosphere was cozy and the decor very vibrant and happy. Now about the food... it was delicious! I had the lamb tandoori which was so rich and spicy, I loved it ? As an appetizer we had the Nirvana Kathi Roll, SO good. Oh and a mint martini which was YUM ? Great experience.
This place was amazing! Will definitely be coming back. The service was great! Our server was named Bosco! He was always ready to refill our drinks and fix anything or answer any questions we had!The restaurant was super clean and the furniture and walls looked cool as hell. The food was so good my eyes rolled to the back of my head fr.10/10 recommend
Amazing Indian Cuisine! I had the butter chicken which had great flavor! I loved the garlic naan as well as the chickpea appetizer! Will be coming back for sure!
The food was delicious and service was great. I definitely would come here every weekend if I could. Even the drinks were pretty decent.
Our favorite Indian restaurant in the New Orleans area! The service is always great and friendly, and we love the ambience (music, the decor, the TVs playing Youtube videos related to Indian culture). We have been here at least a dozen times over several years and the food is always consistently perfect. I love the Flag of India dish; it's a great way to try a lot of things at once. The naan (bread) is served fresh, crispy, and delicious. And they even have homemade yogurt!
