My first visit I ordered the chicken and waffle. It was very good ? I scanned over the menu as I waited for my order & I like their menu because they offer many items to pick & choose from. My sister ordered the American hamburger & she was very pleased with it. The French fries are Awesome as well. Definitely going back very soon. The atmosphere there was pleasant, it was not crowded & it's very spacious ? I luv that ??. Go check them out people.
one of the best of this business i've ever seen. clean and delicious food. big location and lots of options. would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to eat.
I got a grilled chicken salad with a cup of gumbo,which was good. My husband had a shrimp zilla (which had shrimp and roast beef on French bread). Hubby said it was OK. Son had a hamburger and fries (kids menu) he devoured it. New Orleans Hamburger and seafood is food if you're hungry and have time to sit and eat or take out. Better than fast food. ??
DO NOT go to this restaurant. So many things went wrong on our recent visit to this place.1. The cashier looks underage and forgot a few things we wanted to order.2. Not one but two items we paid for they couldn’t make because they had already “turned off the machine” even though they STILL had an hour to go before closing.3. It took over 30 minutes to get someone to help us get a refund for the two items we got charged for but didn’t receive. AS WELL as we didn’t get a confirmation that we did get our refund before needing to leave the restaurant. So not sure we will get a refund…4. The “waitress” we had, clearly seemed she had just got high on her break when she stumbled back to us before leaving.Clearly lots of work needs to happen at this establishment.
I called yesterday was placed on hold for five minutes or more. Called back with no answer. Gave it a second chance today. I make my order and the host repeats to back to me not once but twice. I pull up to get my food head home to find out my order is wrong. I'm super disappointed as I was looking forward to this location by my house opening back up. But it wasn't even an oz of what I hopped for. Terrible customer service half my order and cold food. Yayyy
This is hands-down the worst gumbo I’ve ever tasted. Absolutely no flavor at all. It’s a complete slap in the face to Louisianans everywhere and the owner should be absolutely ashamed. So you’re going to hire a chef from another state who clearly has never cooked Cajun dishes in their entire lives.My spit has more flavor. Shame on you. If you’re going to replicate traditional dishes for profit at least do it correctly. At this point I’m thinking tourist should be banned from leaving reviews. They used exactly two grains of salt and pepper to season entire pot
This place was great to stop and grab a quick bite for lunch while walking around the city. The downstairs dining room is open aired which is nice. The food was great and so was service.
EXCELLENT place to eat. Food was DELISHOUS.I picked up food and you must show covid record card or where you have tested. I will definitely go back and try something different.Boudin Balls and Gator were very good, Thin fried fish has a awesome flavor and hamburger was super good. It's a Must Try if you haven't.
The food I got last night at the St. Charles Ave. location was absolutely horrible. The fried shrimp were over cooked and chewy, the thin fried catfish had no taste, the onion rings were either overcooked or the batter fell off leaving just the onion, the hush puppies were chewy and the coleslaw was hot like it just came out the oven, even the strawberry Fanta tasted like nothing but soda water. The bread pudding had no taste either. The guy that took my order is not a very personable person either. So, with tip, I spent $35 for an absolutely horrible meal. I will definitely not be back at least to this location.
It was descent. Better than the east location and I live closer to thd east location. Sad but true. Seems like they pick the worse workers for the east location. Mozzarella sticks are the best.
