It was my birthday and I wanted to try this restaurant. The service from our waiter, Dakari, was HORRIBLE! We were a party of 6. Initially two of our members took some time to arrive due to traffic and parking. The other four of us literally waited 30 minutes at the table before drink orders were taken. Another 15 minutes before bread was placed at the table. Dakari was not a pleasant waiter and did not come to the table much throughout the meal. Will not be back.

It is a very noisy place when full. The drinks and service were great! We had the coolinary menu and it was pretty good but have been for brunch before and that was better!

We live in New Orleans, this restaurant was already a favorite of ours. But it was our first visit back, since the pandemic. We had the Coolinary menu. Our food was outstanding, and staff was extremely friendly. We sat by the window at street level, and watched the assortment of colorful locals and tourists pass by. We took our time, and had a wonderful evening.

We loved Muriel's! The shrimp and goat cheese crepes were delicious! The shrimp and grits were also great, and the bread pudding was amazing!
