Don't know what I did last night (besides exist) to have the male bartender with glasses treat me and the person I went with like complete trash from the second we walked in, but he really needs to consider if bartending is the gig he's meant for. He puts a huge damper on the place and the look on his face when we asked if they had a certain drink..... God forbid. He looked like he wanted to fight us. He's lucky he caught us on a good day. Never stepping foot here again. Guess they only cater to a certain crowd. Also, it's filthy and has a fruit fly infestation. The nastiness matches the attitudes.

Best bar in NOLA. Place (bathrooms mainly) got a bit of a refresh and is a little cleaner, but the dive bar vibe still exists in all its glory. Cheap drinks, cash only, friendly bartenders, and interesting clientele make for a fun way to spend some time. Open 24 hours, so recommend going early, watching some TV at the bar, and having a delicious liquid breakfast. Also in a great neighborhood with plenty of shops, restaurants, and other bars nearby if you want to make a day of it.

The interior was no-frills but the beers were priced pretty decently. It was cash only, but that wasn’t an issue for me (I was warned beforehand). A friend and I were able to enjoy a cold one out on earth on the front sidewalk and the breeze was decent at the time. It was nothing fancy, but it did a good job of offering a decent drink.

I dropped into Ms. Mae's , located on 4336 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70115, in New Orleans' Garden District. We were early for our reservation at Shaya's, so we thought we'd stop in for a drink. Ms. Mae's is a very cool local bar, with good drinks, friendly service and a very neighborhood bar feel. When I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop in for drinks.

Cool looking bar. Love the vibe. Beer was cold. However when you get ignored and can't order another round, kinda kills the vibe. Hire a new bar tender for Sunday business.

Todays Wednesday May 18th. My friend orders a margarita & the guy bartender starts making fun “fancy stuff I’m supposed to make now”. $8 Then he threw salt onto the bar. The girl bartender just as bad. I walked out. NASTY NASTY STAFF….. next bar!

A New Orleans staple! Dive bar with generous pours at very reasonable prices. Personable bartenders and great beer selection.

Nice little dive bar with inside and outside seating. Bartender was super friendly. Good and cheap drinks.

I moved from New Orleans in 2019 and met some friends here and was surprised that the dive bar to end all dive bars had spruced up a bit and even added a courtyard and windows. My head-cannon will say some force of the city government coerced them into making those changes. The prices got a bit more expensive but there's no longer a sticky film all over the bar. Still a great place to chill with some people and drink 12 beers literally any day and any time of the year.

Cash only!! Great patio!
