Such an awesome hidden gem! Love the vibe! Strongly recommend! Great atmosphere, board games to play while relaxing in a cool spot with good food after walking the city all day!

Great place! It may not look like much but there is a really nice courtyard in the back. The food was great (the Crawfish Mac & Cheese was wonderful) and the staff friendly.

Out of all the places we ate in our trip in nola this was our favorite. Great environment, friendly faces, and delicious food! Hope to come back soon,, you gotta get the Mac :)

A local sent us over for a cocktail and afternoon snack. A bit rustic in style, old school NOLA. Ordered a local draft hazy IPA Jucifer and a strawberry cucumber chiller for cocktails....yum and a dozen oysters. Oysters were fresh and meaty. Great taste, shucked in front of us.Check this place out on St. Philip St.

We had chargrilled oyster’s, raw, ostrich chili, crawfish Mac, pork rinds, and the collard greens! All the flavors were so good! If you are not eating your way through New Orleans then you are not doing anything! ?

I just learned to love charbroiled oysters. I have only had them raw in shots. Yuck!!! Curtis the oyster chef came out to my table and explained the process of charbroiling oysters. I am a big fan of this way of cooking oysters. I am a big fan of this place. Chill atmosphere and staff super friendly.

Nice Bar, great bartenders, a place with good drinks and unbelievable Oysters and music in their cozy backyard patio, at the best price in town!!

I am disappointed after reading the reviews that the food is really good at MRB. Although I knew that my gumbo came with potato salad in it, it tasted more like beef stew. We were really disappointed to be told that we couldn't order the boiled crawfish due to it "being out of season" ( side note, we just had it yesterday and we just ordered it at the restaurant next door). We instead ordered the chicken wings. They were the size of budgie wings and overcooked. We know our wings and could tell.Overall, we were not pleased. Be sure to ask before ordering the crawfish if you were looking forward to it. The food was mediocre at best.

We searched Trip Advisor for crawfish and came across this restaurant. After reading the reviews we decided to go. First, we couldn’t get crawfish due to it being “out of season “… we just had crawfish at a different place the day before but it was outside of the French Quarter. So, we were confused by this information. We decided to order the chicken wings (more like budgie wings) that were overcooked and overpriced. The gumbo was like a beef stew with a scoop of potato salad in it…it wasn’t gumbo. We ended up at the restaurant right beside them and guess what? They had crawfish! Very disappointed.

Awesome bar and restaurant. Took a tour and found this place. Such a cool patio with music! Had food to love the oysters!!!
