As usual, the food was perfect, from the chicken wings through dessert. The service was spotty, and it was difficult to get our serverâs attention. Luckily, the unusual food will keep us coming back!
There's no Vietnamese food that they claim. No phõ at all. Food is bland and unappealing
Amazing service for Saturday brunch! Highly recommend the Sat pork special!!!
This was my first time by definitely not my last! I went by myself for my birthday and everything was amazing.
We totally enjoyed our dining experience at MoPho and probably left our server in stitches. All our dishes came out swiftly and were very flavorful⦠some of our tableâs favorites were the boba teas, the poutine fries with laska curry, the crispy chicken wings and the hangover 2 pho.
The place is amazing, comfortable, the service is amazing, very friendly, but I am giving 4 stars because: I ask the waiter if the Daily Special "Sunday" was spicy or not, he said NO, so ok I decided to try with the delicious IPA, and so here is the thing, when the spicy is stronger than any other flavor in a dish, and you don't feel anymore your IPA, and anything else in your dish, so yeah it's SPICY! Enough to eat ralf of the plate and either drink the beer, I know that some people love spicy, I like, but when I use the quantity that I want! A Daily Special so spicy like this one should have an alert in the side saying that it is spicy! Also I didn't like because was basically potatoes only, and Spicy, was something else very good I guess that was Laksa Curry, that I could feel only in the begging before the spicy go inside my brain hahaha, but that's all other than that was very good.
I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo to go and the portion was generous and perfect for my voracious appetite.I was actually amazed at the level of spices and the heat from the chilis, especially as a Guyanese person! I've been craving my ancestral spices and this dish did not disappoint! My compliments to the Chef!A green papaya salad will complement this meal nicely and add a bit of sour to the flavor combination. The frozen Boba Tea was delicious as well, especially on a beautiful summer night in New Orleans.I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff and how wonderful they are as servers, bartenders, and hosts.Definitely coming back to MOPHO for all of the yumminess!
Loved this place! Some of the most interesting fusion food that you can’t get anywhere else. To start, our server Jude was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. We got the pork pho on special. I wanted it to be spicy, so per his recommendation, I added a satay sauce and it was easily one of my favorite dishes I’ve ever tried. Not only was the broth smoky and rich, but each variety of pork in the soup was excellent from the meatballs to the crispy pork belly. Highly recommend this place for a well-executed, unique, regional take on traditional Vietnamese dishes.
We had the grilled shrimp spring rolls (awesome), fried green beans (also awesome) and a chicken bowl (with coleslaw and cooked greens…don’t recall the name). It was very flavorful but I would have preferred more chicken and less breading. We will be back.
Nice place. My pho was good. Not traditional, but good. Strong broth, a plus, good ratio of noodles, broth, and other. I got the beef pho, I would recommend not getting the meatballs, as they have their own strong flavor that contrasts the pho a lot. The greens they added, pleasantly delicious and surprisingly so. The young hostess was amazing, pleasant and attentive. My waiter was average. He was nice, could have been a little more attentive.
