Nice little Mona Lisa themed restaurant. We were tired of creole food and wanted something different. We checked with Trip Advisor and found this nice little restaurant with great food. We had pizza the first night and enjoyed it so much that we went back 2 days later. We had the veal parmesan and it was delicious. The prices were very reasonable, the waitress Lindsay so nice and the food delicious. I strongly recommend it.
Did not at all expect the 'Upscale Italian Diner' vibe, but it was executed in a unique and unpretentious way. The portions are large, and each plate has good value. The wine selection was pretty good, and the bottles were reasonably priced for the French Quarter. My Favorite part was that each table had crayons and we could draw on the table setting. They even have cut out some of the good drawings and hung them on the wall! It was fun even for us adults.
A great little spot for Italian in the quarter. Super-accommodating for a walk in group of 9 during JazzFest!! We discovered that our intended destination had changed their "no reservation" policy and now required them, so we walked around the corner to Mona Lisa and were handled swiftly, food was good and were on our way to our concert in plenty of time.
Looking for Italian after a JazzFest day and found a blip about MONA LISA RESTAURANT, so we took a chance. About a 40 minutes wait, but we'll with it. The salads were fresh, the garlic bread & cheesy bread were wonderful and the entrees were Amazing! Shrimp Scampi & Veal Parmesan... Good portion sizes, excellent flavor and excellent value. The iced tea was freshly and the beer was cold. Adding this to our list of "must go" places in NOLA!
We really fancied an Italian for a change and found this through Trip Advisor. It is a wonderful comfy restaurant with amazing food. We shared a starter and pizza as the portions are large! Please note prime dinner time here is 7 to 7.30 which is very early but a lot of restaurants are shut by 9pm. Don’t get caught out
The place is very nice with its Mona Lisas decorations! We loved drawing on the table while waiting for our order. Nice food. Very friendly welcoming quick service ! A good address in Nola.
We ate dinner here last week at the end of our trip to NOLA. After eating creole food for three days, we craved Italian. The food was excellent! I had the lasagna and my friends had pasta Bolognese, paneed chicken, and pizza. We had cheesy bread for an appetizer. We were too full to have dessert. It was a very memorable meal!
Great bar filled with great welcoming locals, intended to pop in for one drink and ended up staying for a few hours and loved every minute. Thank you all for a great time!!
We had been in New Orleans for a few days when we found this restaurant. Wish we found it sooner. A wonder waitress (Lindsay )who was efficient and personable, excellent salad and pizza, all with at a reasonable price. Oh and wonderful tiramisu and limoncello cake for dessert! Definitely a great find!
Mediocre food and awful guest service. We heard a lot of excuses and no accountability for the Olive Garden experience. Don’t waste your time or money.
