Solid place! Staff were cordial, and my cortado was good. I love how open and airy it feels, and I could definitely see myself studying/working here (there’s an awesome wall with plenty of desk space/outlets). My burrito got the job done, and the hot sauce provided definitely elevated it quite a bit. Would certainly recommend this place for anyone looking for a calm place to read, study, or work.
Stopped in Mojo Coffee house while staying in NOLA. Fantastic atmosphere and the staff was super friendly. I got a specialty latte with vanilla and cinnamon. Delicious.
I love this coffee shop. It is very conveniently located, just one block away from the beautiful Coliseum Square Park - and located on Magazine Street, one of the most charming streets in New Orleans. The dining area is very large and a great place to hang out and work with your computer etc. They dutifully enforce the New Orleans policy about proof of Covid vaccination before sitting in the dining area. The coffee is great and the ambience outside is super.I have three major complaints:1) The breakfast sandwiches are 90% bread and not worth the money. The only really value I have found is to drop it on the ground and let my dog pillage it. She especially liked doing that with the Boudin burrito. It gave her about 10 minutes of fun and made her very content. But if you like the Boudin cuisine, you can get a much better deal by going to Poppa’s hotdog stand at the corner of Saint Charles and Martin Luther King. Their Boudin sausage is wonderful. I wrote a wonderful Google review for them.2) The second major complaint I have is that there is a huge hole in the pavement out in front of the building - right next to one of the chairs. I myself fell back into that hole - I needed somebody else to pull me out of my chair.3) Disastrous disinterest in customer feedback and lack of resourcefulness to do things that might improve the place. When I attempted to talk to Paul, the morning manager, about the hole in the pavement, he totally stonewalled me - claimed there was absolutely nothing he could do about it and seemed totally disinterested that it is a serious accident waiting to happen.I had a similar experience this morning, when I attempted to give some feedback about the breakfast burritos. He never once showed any interest in what I had to say, said that the owner is in charge of that - and gave me no help in finding a way to talk to the owner. He has an extraordinarily low sense of resourcefulness about what he can do to make the restaurant better – and a drastic lack of concern for customer feedback. These are very serious failings in a customer service professional, much less a customer service manager.I would recommend that you use this coffee shop for the ambience and the coffee, but not for food. You will do better getting a breakfast sandwich at almost any fast food joint. And if you want a great breakfast, go up to Please U on Saint Charles. Their breakfast is as good as I have found anywhere – and the retro diner theme is not fabricated, but left over from its origin in 1946, the year of my birth. You can see more of what I have to say about this wonderful restaurant on my Google review.
After a really hot afternoon, that was a well deserved stop at this coffee house ! Nice place with a cool atmosphere, and delicious drinks and iced matcha latte ! Quiet and calm place if you wanna work :) Definitely recommend!
What a cute little coffee stop! I had the hot cocoa and it was stellar perfectly creamy and sweet without being over the top. The coffee according to my bf :who is a connoisseur, is perfectly roasted and nutty. We will be back everytime we cross new orleans!
Great fresh coffee! The The Boudin burrito was absolutely amazing! Great selection of baked goods. Casual, hipster vibe. Friendly service! We’ll definitely be back while we’re in town.
I am so glad that I found this gem for a multitude of reasons! This is now my permanent study hideaway! I accomplished so much in 2 hours regardless of the chatter behind me, that says a lot! The ladies were friendly, refreshments are inexpensive, and it is a spacious place! To say that the restroom isn’t gender specific, it was clean each time that I used it. There’s also seating outside of the establishment and they are definitely checking for Covid tests if you want to sit inside (which is great)!
My friend and I have been scouting the city for the best coffee houses to do work, and this is one of them. It’s quiet and the drinks are good - I had a sparkling elderflower lemonade and she had a cortado. Highly recommend.
