Definitely a almost 5. I’m struck and everything had TN! Be perfect to get a 5. Serious is a MUST for good food. It’s definitely a “come in, order, move out of the way” place ….. i can attest to the Roast Beef po’boy and it’s really good.

A grumpy old man takes your order at the counter but not rude. The sandwiches were neatly stuffed. The selection is manageable.

We were lucky enough to find this hidden gem off the beaten path. Most of the diners were clearly locals. Nothing fancy here, but the shrimp po'boy (dressed!) and muffuletta we ordered were delicious!

Mike provided a collection of shrimp po-boys, muffalettas, chef salad, and drinks for our group -- and did a great job! He opened early to provide us with our sandwiches, was easy to work with when I made the arrangements -- and the sandwiches were delicious! I will be back again! Thank you, Mike!

My husband and I ate there on 2/19 and were denied usage of the restroom after ordering our food. I was told by the DJ at the entrance to use the port o pot outside along the parade route. A man entered a few moments later and was granted access to the bathroom. He stated that he was going to buy food if they allowed him to use the restroom. I had to walk 3 blocks back to my hotel to use the restroom. It appears only certain paying customers are allowed to use the restroom.

This place is def worth a stop! I went in on a whim hungry for a po boy and was so glad I did. The owner is very kind and even chatted with me while I waited for my food. The oysters were so fresh on my poboy. They literally melt in the mouth. The bread is nicely toasted and that sauce has a nice kick of heat and tang that just brings the whole thing together. I was mad I didn’t order 2 for myself. Go here, you won’t regret it!

Pretty good roast beef po boy, and really great customer service!

Ordered the “Tiger” Po’Boy and it was good. I went in during lunch so it was pretty busy but the service was fast and the food was enjoyable.

Been here twice in as many years. And while I would've fully-recommended a visit to anyone after my first 'legendary' po-boy, the same cannot be said for my recent visit, and here's why...Sometimes, when people get famous, they suffer from a sense of self-entitlement and confidence. This is EXACTLY what we sensed from this visit and it showed. The 3 sandwiches we ordered looked like they were slapped together by a 5yr-old suffering A.D.D. and the service, just plain rude. Perhaps it's no wonder that on a Saturday, it was empty? Anyways, if you're after a Po-boy, keep looking, you can do better.

This is our first visit since the pandemic. Serio’s is as good as it ever was. My wife and I split a shrimp Po’Boy. The shrimp were hand-battered and fresh. The Po’Boy was dressed to order and fried to perfection. We also split an order of onion rings. No frozen commercial onion rings here! Rings were hand cut and hand battered. They may be the best onion rings we ever had. True New Orleans ambience.
