Visited on July 19, 2022 with family. While the menu and ambitions with the respective courses are commendable the execution is awful. Out of six different menu items ordered only two were edible and the whole family left the establishment hungry. Our waitress was great and did a great job but the food is not worthy to be served to pets or even livestock. Avoid this place at all cost - there are plenty of great food in New Orleans!

I can not express enough how thankful I am for being told about this restaurant!! First time in New Orleans and this was an amazing treat. Staff was friendly, atmosphere was perfect and the food is like nothing I have ever tried. This needs to be top of the list of places to eat when visiting. Thank you for getting everything right!

LOVED!!! went for my friend’s birthday & Marjie’s didn’t disappoint. We were able to try quite a few things on the menu & ate it family style which was nice! We loved the cornbread & ordered it a few times throughout the dinner to share with the table (it’s like a decent slice of a pie size). We also got the crab & peaches & bbq pork shoulder. both good, but i loved the crab & peaches!

Delicious! Great customer service!

A fun and exciting blend of flavors! The cornbread- GET IT! It’s some of the best I’ve had- it’s light, not too salty, kinda sweet bc of the sauce drizzled on top and it seems like it was pan fried in a heavenly amount of butter.

I googled - New Orleans restaurants open on a Monday and received a top 10 list article. To be fair, Marjie's was the 4 place I called due to the need of having to car service to the location. But they did have seating. Saw the menu online and was really curious. First, it is not that close to the Warehouse District but not too far. Bars on the window of the converted house so not sure if just really safe or questionable neighborhood. Inside is eclectic with decorations and none of the dishes or silverware matched. My curiosity increased. We did a lot of sharing - Creole Tomato Som Tam, Honey Butter Louisiana Duck, Charcoal Grilled Swardfish, Buttered Cornbread, Chili Butter Jumbo Shrimp, Charcoal Grilled Broccoli, Habanero Glazed Pork Ribs, couple desserts and drinks. Total was just under $200 and that was for 4 people and we walked away full for sure. All the food was a solid 4/5 - some really great flavors and definitely some heat. Seems like a locals place. Staff was generally friendly but in reading some reviews, not overly polished (more casual) but fitting the atmosphere. If looking for something different then I recommend the place. I would go again for sure.

The food is Viet-Cajun. It is adventurous as well as delicious. We truly enjoyed it. Except for the fried pig knuckles avoid those.

Outstanding from top to bottom. One of the best and most creative restaurants in town. Amazing cocktails and the food is to die for. The smoke smell from around the block was enough ti get me in the door. Service is wonderful too.

Spicy, tangy, tender, with fresh herbs, and local ingredients- this place has fantastic flavors! We got two of the specials, the duck wings and sheepshead (easily the best fried fish I've had in years), as well as the som tam salad, shrimp, cornbread and greens. Each dish was deliciously well balanced. If I lived in town, I'd be a regular.I'll add that Marjie's patio space is charming. The staff provided warm and attentive service. And it's dog friendly, which was a cherry on top.

This place is ridiculously good. Unique food, great people. Just come and try a bunch of things family style. It’s a fantastic mix of Thai/Vietnamese BBQ.And don’t forget the corn bread - which is so good that they cut it like a slice of pie!
