A bit disappointed. While the pour over was excellent it was only filled to 2/3 full. I had asked to leave some room for cream. She then proceeded to pour the remainder down the drain wasting the remaining coffee I would have liked.
Love the coffee and the music ? good apot to take some rest if you are tourists, they got tea and coffee bean to sell. Love the vibe and decor. Got myself a bag of bean.
Normal size flat white, two beans available on the espresso machine. Smaller nice spot for a good coffee in NOLA.
Pretentious staff- meh coffee- potato leek pastry is trash.
Such an aesthetically appealing place! The atmosphere is very chill and conducive for studying/focused work. Beautiful tile work on the floor that I just have to mention. I absolutely love how they lost their pour over options, with a description listed to help you decide. Also, the fact their sign says they love questions…definitely helps create an inviting atmosphere, especially for those like me who want to learn more about coffee but may feel intimidated. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, which stayed true as I sat an overheard them speaking to many customers. I WISH they had more merch to buy - I had my heart set on a tumbler they have listed on their website!
Fantastic coffee place with a great atmosphere and personality. The servers were friendly and fun to chat to, and the array of coffee choice as well as styles was great. I had a lavender latte with oat milk which was delicious and well balanced - you could actively taste the lavender without feeling like you're drinking soap! My brother had the special Jazz Dad (a maple bourbon-flavoured cortado with a mini waffle cookie on the side), which was very different but equally delicious. Went back a short while later for an iced single origin coffee (it's so hot today! ;-)). Great experience from start to finish.
Wonderful espresso and tonic - they have two beans in the grinder and the friendly barista was ready to guide me if I picked the less fruity coffee on tap. The grapefruit flavors punched through. Bought a couple bags of beans. Thanks!
First I order a latte, was so bad..Then I ordered a black coffee thinking that the plant base milk they use could be the problem, but no.. The simple black coffee I wanted to wash out that bad sip of latte was even worse..I don’t get the good reviews might be people that don’t know about coffee or had some other kind of drink there.. But I totally agree with the bad reviews.. acidic, burnt, un drinkable, and don’t get me started about the bad service..In a place li Nola where pretty much everywhere we went we tasted great things and got a great service, dissapointment becomes bigger..
Best coffee - we tried cardamom latte and regular latte.. loved both. Beautiful blue cups. Mouth watering pesto brioche too.. must try!Being a plants lover, I liked their ambience and decor too.
Excellent coffee with a large selection of pour overs. Very friendly staff, clean, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
