As soon as my girlfriend and I walked through the door, we were so blessed by the Christian decor, open Bible, and prayer tree. We learned that Miss Loretta just passed into glory with the Lord, but her family and friends that are still running the establishment were so kind and friendly. It made us feel like family as well, which I believe testifies to the legacy Miss Loretta left behind. I can't forget to mention that the beignets were the best we had in New Orleans and we will definitely be back, if not this trip then the next. May the Lord continue to bless this business and its people!!
This little cafe is very clean and bright and the staff is so friendly. The Tiger Woods drink is delicious and made fresh daily. The breakfast beignets are delicious, fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Lots of other baked goods and of course the pralines to purchase as well. Would go to this cafe again when in town.

Forget Du Monde. Lorettas is the BEST beignets in NOLA. Not a tourist trap, just great food. I highly recommend the Praline filled, but everything is good here.
The amount of crabmeat they give you in a beignet is disheartening, especially for $10 . I literally ate it in one bite. They used to be stuffed . Price went up . Quality went down.
We were in NOLA for a week. Ms. Loretta’s was closed until Wednesday and we are every day there the remainder of our trip! My son swears by the burger beignets…a hamburger& sausage meat patty in, you guessed it, beignets! If I had to pick a favorite it was probably the shoe soles…I’m glad I gave them a chance with so many options…the were fantastic!

Those crab beugnets were too good. The regular beignets were so good I didn't even bother going to that other popular place with the long line.
Ms Loretta is Devine! We bought 1000 of her mini samplers to send to a meeting to promote New Orleans and they went in a flash! People raved that they were the best Praline's ever.And they are. Made with all natural ingredients, Ms Loretta puts her heart and soul into her business.She has the cutest restaurant. Run don't walk to Loretta's Praline's cafe on No Rampart.If you are lucky enough to meet her you will not only get some emotional healing from her food but some spiritual healing from Ms Loretta herself.
