First time visiting NOLA and this was 1 of our first stops in the French Quarter. the young man who got our attention to stop on in to 718 Local was warm and welcoming and assured us we would be happy with the service and food as we were starving around lunch time. The music was everything thanks to Jarmira and the drinks made perfectly also by Jarmira who I have to say was a breath of fresh air she had such a beautiful energy and was warm welcoming and just a joyful spirit what a wonderful way to start our trip. Will definitely be our first stop on our next trip and I’d advise anyone else to make it theirs. Oh and get their garlic parm fries you won’t be disappointed
Came by for a drink and had the best experience ever. My bartender jarmira was great and showed excellent customer service skills
Best bartender ever; Stephanie was very sociable. Had some great recommendations of things to see in the area. May not have stopped in if not for her energy, great personality and warm welcome!
Love love love this place. They have the best bloody Mary’s and the jarmira are absolutely amazing.
I stumbled upon this spot a couple different times in my trip to NOLA. First was a Thursday night and they warmly welcomed me while I had an outside drink. Had a great time with bartenders and patrons alike. The next day I randomly stumbled upon it for brunch and mimosas and I am WAY glad I came here. The breakfast was only $5 and it was delicious!!!! Good serving sizes. Bottomless mimosas of course. Live music. The artist was amazing and kept the different crowds going all day. Kerri the bartender was amazing and handled the full bar like a true professional. Kept my drinks flowing way too well. And the artist, Bryan bludworth was incredible!!!!!!!!! Can’t recommend enough. Love this place!!!! Must stop in New Orleans.
Fun, locals-style bar with excellent service. Spent an afternoon on the balcony with a group of friends and had a blast eating snacks (chili fries, wings) and chatting with bartender Stephanie, who is awesome. She pours an excellent cocktail and makes a great shot called the Trainwreck. We will definitely be back one morning for the cereal bar.
We had to come back to Local 718 every day of our trip! We would only drink a Hurricane (a New Orleans must!) unless it was made with love by Angelica — she was absolutely fantastic!! Highly recommend… and the balcony is beautiful!
Had a great time here, Chelsea, the bartender was fast and super friendly, and also answered all of my ridiculous tourist questions. I highly recommend stopping here while on bourbon st.
Bartender was very cool during our entire visit , the best one of our entire visit to New Orleans , but what I assume was a female manager came in and started an argument with him and then shut the doors of the bar with me and several other guests still inside of the location. She kicked a bottle that was on the floor towards a member of our group visiting the city cutting our night short. Whatever the situation was she should have handled it outside of our view in a professional manner instead of that rude display of authority over another.
I used to haunt this place when it was Johnnie White's. Still a good time with affordable beers and good music. A perfect place to people watch. I highly recommend the burger po boy.
