Fantastic food and great service!!! Lily was a superb host who was almost motherly making us feel very much at home. The food was on point and comparable with what I had in Vietnam. All in all a great and unexpected experience as hadn't come to NOLA to try Vietnamese food but so glad I did!!!

We went to Lily's after a recommendation from our walking tour guide, who explained that the Vietnamese food in NOLA is some of the best in the country. (I hadn't planned on trying Vietnamese food in NOLA, having been to Vietnam and having more Cajun specialities on my list). I'm so glad we followed the recommendation. The cafe is wonderful and we'll decorated and Lily is a fantastic host who was friendly, funny and very helpful!!! The food was also brilliant, the Banh mi was perfect as was my gf's rice and pork along with amazing summer and spring rolls. Really recommend to anyone visiting the garden District!!! Will deffo come back!

WOW. Hands down some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. After going to Vietnam, I miss the real stuff, and this is IT. I don’t know what to say other than it’s tasty and I honestly feel great.Lilly is just the best. She makes conversation, welcomes you, and really makes you feel at home.I’ll travel from Baton Rouge any day just for this food and amazing restaurant!!!!

I was surprised that Lily's cafe has such high ratings. The food was mediocre. I got the pho combo and "grilled" beef banh mi. The meat was in fact not grilled (more like sauteed). The banh mi needs a different marinade, fattier type of beef, and a larger filling to bread ratio. The beef tasted dry and very peppery. The pho needs different cuts of meat like fattier brisket and better quality meatballs. The meatballs tasted like they were frozen and absorbed other flavors of whatever was in the freezer. The brisket needs a fattier cut because it was extremely dry. The thinly sliced beef was good. I was sad that they advertised their place as "authentic" because the soup didn't have any tendons or the bones in the soup that have super tender meat on them. Also they're missing Thai basil as one of the garnishes. The search continues to find a good pho place in the NOLA area. There have been some in the past but they closed during the pandemic. It seems that I have to venture to the east and west bank, Metairie, or Kenner. Also, If anyone finds a place close by for authentic/good banh mi dac biet please let me know.TL;DR: Better pho and banh mi elsewhere. Also expensive.

We had a wonderful experience. Lilly is so nice and welcoming and the food was excellent. We loved the delicious pork dumplings with the thin dough and the spicy tofu was amazing. The Pho was rich and hearty with generous amounts of meat and noodles. Thanks Lilly for a very satisfying lunch.

Stopped in for lunch on a recommendation. The food was good. They forgot our steamed dumpling and when we finally got them they were cold. I had the combo PHO which was good but not great and the wife had chicken and rice combo it was ok. It is kinda out of the way and not someplace I would go back too. It seemed like only Lilly, her husband? and a cook were working and they really had no plan so it was hap hazard on ordering and getting food.

This place is super busy for lunch! It is absolutely delicious! There’s so much good viet food in New Orleans. I highly recommend this place. A lot of people were ordering pho, and it smelled very good. My dish was super flavorful and yummy.

Amazing little family restaurant. The vegan egg rolls were delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly and helpful. They seemed to really love what they were doing. High recommend it.

Never thought that online trading could be so helpful because of so many scammers online until I met Mrs Jane Lippencott who changed my life and that of my family. I invested $1000 and got $11,000 Within a week. she is an expert and also proven to be trustworthy and reliable.

Coming from San Diego, and only eating Pho made there made me think that pho was supposed to taste a certain way. I've tried pho in Louisiana at three different spots now and can definitely tell the difference in quality and taste. Out of the three places I've tried, Lilly's Cafe is by far the best. It's not quite what I'm used to in San Diego, but it's good none the less. I would come back here if I was in the area again to satisfy that pho craving we all get.
