Not impressed at all. Went to their booth at the Tuesday Crescent Farmers Market. Bought a sourdough loaf and a bagel, both pretty bland, no quality. Shop is closed on Tuesday, so maybe it was something made on Sunday. Either way, disappointed.
Pros: All of the bake goods are delicious. Friendly people and nice atmosphereCon: The coffee cups are TINY. I need 2-3x that much.
Happy the place is in the neighborhood. The lox bagel is great. My only concern is that every time I go the croissants seem near burnt. I went on day one excited to try a croissant or pain au chocolat. The one I had was too dark and the others looked the same. I've been back multiple times since (support local, give second chances) but they have had the same issue. No other local bakeries in the city have croissants this dark and crispy. Just writing this review to maybe bring attention to the owners and see if it's intentional or accidental
One needs a sharp set of canines to even rip through the plain "bagels". Time and time again I'm disappointed by the chewy burnt bagels that cost nearly $5 each. wish I could support this local business but the plain bagel is not a good product.
Excellent breakfast sandwiches. Bagels coated in seasoning and fluffy, flavorful egg with a great white cheddar. Chefs kiss.

On vacation for a week in New Orleans and have been to Leo’s 3 times so far. Every time the person who waited on me was genuinely friendly, and I always had a generous amount of cream cheese on the best bagels I’ve ever eaten! Highly, highly recommend.

TLDR: go grab a bagel here ASAPDelicious bagels and croissants! On weekends the earlier you get there the better, by the time I was leaving around 9:30am there was a line out the door and down the street. Only three bagel flavors but what they do they do well. As an East coast girl who’s missing her NY bagels, Leo’s was a happy surprise. Dark, crispy outer crust packed with seasoning, flavorful chewy inside, and delicious whipped cream cheese. I’m new to town but these are the best bagels I’ve had so far. Also couldn’t resist grabbing a chocolate croissant because they were so stunning, and the crispy, buttery layers melted in my mouth. On top of the delicious baked goods, the staff was super friendly and the outdoor patio area is small but adorable
