Friendly staff, but everything else was mediocre. The pita was pulled right out of the bag and thrown into a basket. It was stale and chewy. Shocked that they didn't take 30 seconds and to warm the pita on the grill or flat top.Overall the quality of the food was underwhelming. A bit disappointing after hearing good things about the restaurant. New Orleans has many BETTER options for the same cuisine and they're far more authentic too.
I used to love this place. It’s been on a steady decline and today they hit rock bottom. I’m expecting and in the hospital with two sick children and haven’t eaten all day. I had my spouse go pick up a Togo order. He gets there and an employee who had just left took my order. I told him to just get a refund and just don’t worry about it bc I’m super irritated at this point. He tells me that he go the tea as a surprise in the original order. They still made him pay! I wish he would’ve left it there. I don’t mind paying for the tea on a normal circumstance but it seem inconsiderate. I blamed it on an incompetent staff member but I called and that staff member told me the owner/manager/person in charge TOLD her to do so. This is NOT courtesy.
Lebanon’s Cafe was once a favorite stop for my family and I. Recently we’ve noticed that the onions on various meals are served raw rather than sautéed. It would be a real enhancement if onions would be sautéed again. This will really bring the dish to its full potential.
Ordered take-out for quite a few people. Katrina took our order. She was amazing, extremely professional, pleasant, patient, and took her time to make sure our order was right.. food as always was hot, excellent and I recommend it highly!!
A friend recommended this place to me. Me and a couple friends went in for a quick lunch and we were pleased to say the least. Gabe was our server, super nice kid and had us in and out! Will definitely go back
I’m from outta town an tried this place, an let me tell you this is the BEST restaurant I’ve been too in my life. Gabe was our server an he was so nice an thoughtful he was very respectful, very clear that management is good at this place. I’d recommend this to anyone
Authentic Lebanese food like what I was raised on. ???
I love this place. I don't live in New Orleans anymore and of all the hundreds of restaurants I went through over the years I lived there I miss this most of all. Their rice is addictive like it's filled with little crack nuggets and I could eat their Kibby all day. I love everything. Except the Rosewater Tea. That grossed me out, but everything else is amazing. It's so cheap too!
Great food and Lebanese tea.
This has been our favorite restaurant for 10+ years. Can’t say enough about the food and service. My wife and I always ask for Carlin. She’s an excellent waitress and a sweetheart. With that being said, we’ll probably not be going back except maybe for a special occasion. The prices have gotten to be “above our pay grade”. We’ll miss you Carlin.
