The pralines and pecans are absolutely scrumptious! The lady who waited on us was helpful and delightful to deal with and not at all impatient when it took a while to make up my mind.
This is a candy shop making their own candy. We visited twice during our trip. Once on our own and once during a food tour we took. We sampled and the pralines were excellent. We purchased some pralines to take home for ourselves and for our neighbors. We had both kinds, the traditional and the chewier ones and liked them both. We also bought peanut/coconut brittle and it was very good also. This is a fairly small shop and you can see the candy kitchen from the retail store. Counter person was friendly and helpful.
We heard from a local that this is her favorite praline shop in town. I’m honestly not a huge fan of pralines myself but these were delicious and just melted in your mouth. Not to mention the guy at the counter was really friendly and helpful.
Great customer service and you can sample before you purchase. This shop was recommended by a local, and their pralines are made fresh daily. Pralines sort of taste like fudge, but you eat it like a cookie. Very sweet, and it goes well with either tea or coffee.
We purchased Leah's pralines for a corporate event. Not only were they delicious but the team printed personalized labels that looked great on each praline. We made sure to grab some other treats when picking up the pralines and everything was delicious!!
Pralines are usually super sweet for me. I tried their Cajun Spice Praline and it was amazing.
If you are into pralines, give this spot a try. They also have a variety of other confections. It's a small shop but good things come in small packages! I really recommend the chocolate covered peanuts, they are basically a license to munch
When in New Orleans you have to try everything local...long story short Leah's pralines liked my Instagram of street art the same day we said we hadn't tried pralines yet!!!lol So off we walked...omg it's praline and candy heaven!! Staff were so helpful friendly and informative there should be a sixth dot for how amazing they are. Candy!!!!!!! Simply amazing and not enough words to say how delicious everything was.
