This is a solid vegan coffee shop that's seemingly sustainable from top to bottom. They serve up a pretty interesting menu of smoothies (with protein). I had an A+ berry smoothie that came in a generous portion. Surfer's breakfast (sandwich) was subtle, pretty good, but not as exciting as I expected. This place is super spacious and clean; I'd definitely recommend coming here to relax/get work done and enjoy a good smoothie.

I really loved the breakfast at this cute little place in NOLA. There was lots of street parking in the area and a very busy place called Tastee on the corner down the block where I parked. The inside of the restaurant was so clean. Everything was white and open, and if you're a big fan of sunlight, there are windows that let in tons of light. Green plants grew in every corner, adding to the healthy aura of the place. They had organic and natural products for sale in addition to the healthy menu. I cannot eat gluten and was so happy they had a grain-free waffle made with almond flour, which is what I cook and bake with at home. This was the menu description:GRAIN FREE WAFFLE (contains egg)Almond flour | toasted pecans | | Vermont maple syrup | fresh fruitI also ordered a side of the pastured scrambled eggs. At this restaurant, you order at the cash, and the girl taking my order was very friendly and helpful. The food was so good and very fresh. I also didn't have to wait very long for it to come out of the kitchen. I'm not a huge fruit person and usually just eat my waffles with syrup, but I made myself eat the fruit this time, and it was very good. Incredible syrup, and the eggs were delicious, very fluffy. The coffee was very good also. It's very nice to be able to eat a breakfast you feel so good about. Lamara proves that healthy can be perfectly delicious. The only criticism I can offer is that they need cushions in the chairs, which were a tad uncomfortable. Otherwise, I will certainly return to this bright and airy space that offers a waffle I don't feel guilty about eating afterward. There was the added bonus that, as I walked back to my car, there was a gang of Elvises riding mini-bikes going down the street. Always something interesting to see in the Big Easy!

One of the few places in the area with vegan, gluten free and organic food. Food was high quality and delicious, with great flavor pairings. The lady who attended to us was very caring and considerately answered all of our questions since we are picky about ingredients. She even came outside where we were waiting and brought us our food. Very sweet simple and clean place.

Delicious plant based coffee shop. Would like to have the option of regular milk, but their oatmilk is good. Dishes are tasty and they use quality ingredients.

The food was yummy! However, I ordered latte and it was so hot that burnt my tongue

Amazing Place & staff!!! Cakes, pastries & sandwiches are to die for. It’s been my regular spot for the past 6 months! Recommend highly!!! A++++

Got the Nightshade sandwich and the Jackfruit sandwich to go with a coffee. Everything was absolutely top notch. A perfect and delicious lunch!

Once upon a pandemic time,...there was a hunger couple, whom loved adventure and fresh nutritious food...(Hour later)Toes curled, and wanting to reexplore the menu it was decided to come back.Stay tuned for the next episodes of.... Cafe Lamara!Pros: fresh ingredients cooked on the spot. Well worth the wait and price. Enchanting rear patio along side " Do not touch" prettytrouch nontouchy thing. Funny food books.Call in orders. Refrigerator full of last minute yummies.Cons: small kitchen for the demand.(victim of its success)Parking.....saddly( again victim of its success)

wonderful place, the owners are so attentive! the matcha tea is one of the best I have had, you will love the experience.

Do yourself a favor and walk down to old road coffee. They do all that's here but without the "look at me, notice how environmentally conscious I am" pretension. Also old road coffee down the street has friendly staff and a personable owner. Owner here was extremely unwelcoming.Oh yeah hahaha and there's so many mini label signs telling you rules. There rules here are endless and silly. Also $11 for a single waffle. And $4 for a drip coffee which take 15 minutes to receive is absolutely ridiculous.
