We met up with a friend visiting town, and it was the perfect place for great conversation, cocktails, and food. The staff was friendly and kind.
Mixologist was excellent as were the cocktails. Food was good but nothing outstanding for sure! Overpriced for what you get.
The service was excellent, our server Maddie was friendly and helpful but not intrusive, just the right mix of friendly and professional. We were offered a taste of a wine we were curious about before purchasing a glass, which was great because we didn’t love it & we’re able to purchase a varietal we were more familiar with instead. The tuna tartare was perfect and the carrot curry soup was excellent. The blue crab beignets were very good but everyone raves about them so much I was expecting something mind blowing, they were not mind blowing but they were very good. The rabbit was a bit disappointing. I grew up eating rabbit and really love a good rabbit dish but this rabbit was fried with a fairly thick crust so the rabbit was pretty well disguised. I would recommend it for someone who wants to try rabbit for the first time but not for someone who actually likes rabbit. Having said that the house made sauerkraut and carrots and spätzle that accompanied the rabbit were excellent. Finally, the cantaloupe sorbet was fabulous. In conclusion: great staff, great ambiance, get the tuna tartare, try the blue crab beignets, and skip the rabbit.
Wonderful service. Amazing food. Will definitely visit again.
We saved LPG for the final night of our trip and had big expectations given the accolades we had read about it. Honestly, we left feeling just "meh" and like we overpaid for a meal. At 8:30 our server was ready to call it a night when we arrived and the sommelier was more attentive to us than she was. Items from the menu we had hoped to try were not available which we found disappointing. We had, lamb, rabbit, a hanger steak and turtle bolognese. All were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The food was very good over all, but not knock our socks off like you expect from a James Beard winner. We also ate at the sister restaurant Justine's in the French Quarter where the experience was honestly much better over all. The service was far more attentive (and happy), the food was prompt and fantastic.
Always a pleasure to dine here — great food prepared just right!
Very nice. We shared lots of appetizers and then had the fish and the pork shank.
One of the most comfortable and affordable restaurants in NO
Had the scallop special appetizer, green salad and French 75s. Food was just ok really, perhaps another choice would have been better. Very nice place to meet and enjoy. Will go back.
Dinner for 2 at the bar. Excellent staff and food. We will definitely return.
