The good: the chips were fresh and delicious and the salsa was decent. We also enjoyed the queso. My cauliflower tacos were decent enough. It was taco Tuesday so the five tacos for $10 was a good deal. The bad: the guacamole was rotten. It came to our table two seconds after we ordered it, was room temp, and was the same brand of fake "guacamole" that Juan's Flying Burrito serves. I don't know if they're substituting tomatillos, squash, peas or something else - but whatever it was it's not guacamole and it was rancid. The tortilla soup was too salty for my nine year old to eat. This is a kid that I catch stealing pinches of salt from the salt jar - so that's saying something.
Andria (I think I’m spelling her name correctly!) Always provides the best service and menu recommendations. The food is delicious. The service is amazing. The location is good. I mean what more can you ask for. Try this place…you can’t go wrong.
Only one waiter on staff it seemed but did have help from another worker delivering food to tables as it came up. Good food, alway enjoy it. Had a build your own barbacoa burrito with the bean soup. Chips, salsa and queso to start.
The best Mexican food i have ever had... 5 star
Food was great, staff were attentive. I liked the atmosphere of the place, and great location. I recommend stopping by.
If you're gluten free or celiac, do not come here. If you're not, I'm sure its great. The menu has specific items that are called out to be 'GF'. The waitress informed me that nothing is actually gluten free as everything, even corn based items, are floured. Disappointing and dangerous if you have a severe allergy like I do.If the menu didn't call out the items as being gluten free it would have been totally cool. But to make the distinction as GF and then have gluten in everything is pretty misleading.
The food was wonderful! We enjoyed our margaritas too. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Would visit again.
It's 21 Nov 21 1930ish. This is not Mexican food. It's imitation/faux. It's edible but I'm positive a more authentic experience exists in the nearby blocks. Frozen Enchiladas from the grocery would probably be better.Cleanliness ??Atmosphere ??Food??
Super nice waitress, she was awesome. The food is great, and the location is the best it can be. Uptown New Orleans is a great spot to eat some banging Mexican food.
Called to check their menu for Gluten Free options. The man who answered the phone as well as the menu indicates there is lots of gluten free options. Once we sat down they explained that most of it isn’t really gluten free. They lied about their menu and it could make a lot of people sick. Hope in the future they improve their menu.
